I reckon BMW has lost Anesbury and signed Ruffles. Ruckmen Nick McCallum and Jordan Dodman have committed for 2011. Both have a few options open to them but it looks like BMW will be their destination of choice.

Orroroo's Justin Duffy and Matthew Dignan are brothers-in-law. Both married Geoff Power's daughters

Wooly camps at full forward occasionally for the B grade at Jamestown when they are short. I reckon he kicked about 6 goals.Takes a bloody good man to stand him.

Someone asked about J-P coach Brenton Jones and what he is up to. Moved in with his girlfriend (an ex-BMW netballer) in Melrose and they had a baby boy last year. He's a good bloke too.

An Anesbury at BMW?? Things have changed! I know Bullets son played for Broughton last year and there have been many staunch Orroroo Anesburys over the years but which one played for BMW?

Any truth in the rumour the sportswriter up there is on his way to town as he has landed a job alongside Michaelangelo Rucci at the Advertiser?

See a rumour that the Oakley boys are heading back to Jamestown/Peterborough, would be huge inclusions if they pulled on the boots, gun juniors in their day.

yeah you are right Brad. I think Toby Oakley has been playing in WA somewhere and making a big quid but I don't know what Travis has been doing since he parted company with league footy a few years ago so will be interesting to see how they go in Northern Areas after all this time.

Matt - ex swans rookie, norwood last yr, played good finals footy....doubt he would leave
Josh - had last yr off to study, played at bbh 2009
nick - last yr off for knee recon, played at bbh 2009

all good lads and handy footballers, and with bbh looking strong this yr i wouldnt be surprised if nick and josh played there, but i could be very wrong

thanks rama. No one in Jamestown is admitting to anything about these recruits so we will probably have to wait for a few weeks to see what happens

Trav also moved across to WA after his time at the Eagles in SANFL. He was a quality footballer.
