Roos over Onkas by 4 goals
IB over the Raiders by 4 goals cos it's at bridgey, would be a bigger margin at IB.
Devs to beat Lobey by 2 goals. Just got a feeling that the 13-odd game streak may continue over the Tigers.
TV & Hahndorf to draw.
Uraidla over Blackwood by 9 goals.

Echunga's club newsletter is asking for people to join a sub-committee to see if there is a case for them to go up into Central Div in 2013.

The HFL have already ruled out teams going up/down for season 2013.

why come on this forum and state a blatant mis-truth?

the hfl have made no such ruling. the promotion and relegation is controlled by the by-laws.

Pity they couldn't achieve that feat in the last game of 2011.

well done to the Woods - yes pity not in the GF but still great effort

Mt Barker winners by 99 pts over Onkas
21-11 to 6-2
i think Marsten kicked 8

another shock was Mt Lofty defeating Lobethal by about 10 goals

Zipper you clearly have no clue, or your source is full of s$#t. If you don't know the facts don't post rubbish. Promotion/relegation is ongoing and available year to year. If a club in Country makes the GF, meets the criteria and wants to come up then they can.

I need a new crystal ball!
Anybody on this forum see the Woods beat Uris or the Devs knock off Lobey? Would be interested in your comments on those games.

Admittedly I'm a Devs man, but I'm surprised a few on here think us beating Lobey is a "shock", maybe a bit unexpected but at the start of the year Lobey was a team whose depth would be tested & I think it is being done so at the moment. Speaking to some lads that were there they said that both teams played sh$t, just that Lobey were really quite bad. The depth thing is apparent with the Devs getting up in B grade too. Makes the battle for relegation avoidance interesting, even brings TV into it if they don't beat Lobey & Lofty in the second half of the year...
As for the 'Woods...I'll be. Did NOT see that coming.

Fair comments Just Quietly.

I don't know how the points work to calculate relegation but now that we're at the half way mark of the season it would be interesting if there was a mathematician out there who knows the points system who could do a quick calculate for the rest of us on TV, Lobey, Bridgey and Lofty to see who would go down and who would survive at this point in time. Might be CLOSE.

Pretty sure its A's=10 b's=5 sc=3 and jc=3. ecah team at this stage would look like (A,b,sc,jc wins, pts):
tv - 4,1,0,5, 60pts
lobey - 2,2,2,6, 54pts
brigey - 1,1,4,4, 39pts
lofty - 1,2,3,3, 38pts

before did the numbers, thought woul be lobey battling with lofty for bottom. nothing between traditional rivals bridgey and lofty. head 2 head lofty have 0 home games, tv 2 home, lobey 2 home, brigey 2 home. lofty may have blown some chances!

I think that's correct, although i thought SC were worth more than JC. I didn't realise TV were that far safe. Bloody good point re the home games. I think the only real blown chance for Lofty was the first game against Blackwood, that was winnable. I think they've simply faded & been outplayed in the rest. My premonition of a C grader stepping up as a target in A grade has worked. We're also yet to get a definite of whether or not Echunga or Birdwood have put in a request to come up.

Id say a bit of both. Last week they played without: S.Tanner, A. Heiser, L.Nicholls, N.Smart, M.Angove and the Contin brothers from what im told all due to injury. With that list of outs i wasnt overly suprised with the score line.

Easiest draw early in the season gave them a big start.

Looks like Lobethal have lost the services of Tom Clarke for the rest of the season as he has taken a job up in Roxby and will suit up on the weekends for Olympic Dam.
