Warriors slow, lazy and tired.
We may have played our GF the week before.
The old adage that you play how you train was correct - as that's how most of us trained on Thursday night.
Disappointing finish. But Lyrup are a good side, who've been building at the right time.
Despite not beating any of the top three sides in the minor round, they got close to them all and should have won several games against us, East Murray and Cobby prior to the finals.

The much maligned Lippis pulled out a good performance. Centofanti was clever and guided his team into good positions.
And as predicted by someone else Lyrup's run, particularly from Campbell and Abdulla, killed us at times.

I think it's a farewell to playing for the legendary Tom Graetz. 48 years old and still playing hard and tough in the midfield.

I saw John on Sunday and he didn't have a cast on his arm, only a bandage.

fair call c.m but the numbers i have, he didnt overtake k.sampson as you stated, kim wasnt in the mix from my numbers, so you either called the winner by ar$e or your informants are a little dodgy...well done on the call though

Interesting call on the night:

Stalwart East Murray full back in collecting the medal for Mark (who couldn't be there), said: "I would like to thank Mick Zerna and the selection panel at the Loxton Football Club. It made it a hell of a lot easier to get him back here."

Low blow.

yes indeed, hopefully we can keep him to less than 7 goals this weekend. should be an interesting game. apparently berri have the gameplan to win, must have been keeping it under wraps all year.
