Was that ex Marion sfl mail medalist Brett Exelby running around for them?

Thought he had signed on to play at Kangarilla?

Mt barker are the favourites to take the crown in my eyes. Plenty of new recruits, no big outs and good youth all mixed with a big pre season.

Blackwood are playing Flagstaff Hill at Flaggies ground. Full day with three junior games then B's and A's with the C graders also having a hit out after the A's finish. Weather looks good so should be a good trial for all concerned.

Lofty will struggle here. they lost to a average team last week and looked to small.

Imps beat lofty by about 8 goals tonight ... If they are the premier RMFL side then the league has not progressed as much as I've been told. Whilst they aren't a bad side, well drilled and play well as a unit they simply couldn't completely put away the my lofty side which barely resembles the feared unit of years gone by. I expect a Uraidla or my barker to be handing out 20 + beatings to the devils this year

RMFL sides have generally struggled against the better Hills sides in trials. From watching a lot of RMFL footy there is no doubt in my mind there is at least 10 goals difference between the best sides in both competitions so I am not suprised that Imperials only beat Lofty by 8 goals.

Well how did everyones trials go? Some good wins from the Roos I'm told so holds us in good stead come Rd 1. What are people's thoughts about Rd 1 after Easter break? I think a game before Easter would be good?

How did bridgy go? How many did Bown kick? Massive recruit for the Raiders (recruit of the year by far). Can't believe it hasn't been discussed.

Bown is a great pick up but at this stage I don’t think anyone will get to excited about Bridgewater recruits as they still have a lot to prove before they will be taken seriously. Even their number 1 ticket holder, Vaughn, has abandoned them!

Alright here we go, Round 1:
Hahndorf v Ironbank – Match of the Round – Ironbank have recruited well will the likes of Sugg and co and Hahndorf are usually under prepared for round 1 so ill say Ironbank by 3-4 Goals
Lobethal v Onka Valley – The challenge here will be to see if Loby can find 42 blokes to put on the park over 2 matches – Onkas by 10+
Mt Barker v Torrens Valley – be ready for a great year from Roos and I don’t think you’ll see too many game let slip – Mt Barker by 10+
Uraidla v Bridgewater – Enough said, Uraidla by 10+
Blackwood v Mt lofty – Much like above, Although Both sides have lost the best part of their top 10 players so might be closer then I think – Blackwood by 8 Goals
