Well according to the Crowmuncher Inbox.. BDT would look to move back into the RMFL if the league did fold.. Murrayville are keen to go to the RMFL but no way that would happen therefore Murrayville would lose all their Adelaide players having to travel even further.. I know a few key players from BDT and Lameroo would not be on a 12 Game season..

But then again its just my mailbox and D&O your are much more knowledgable man that I am...

One thing that was a bit annoying last season to me was the amount of games. To many breaks and not enough games. Would be even worse if Karoonda did go

Just heard from someone involved with the Mallee League - it appears that Karoonda are going to enter the season with a League and Colts side. Obviously they want to stay alive, and are willing to suffer some pain, with the hope of rebuilding.

So some interesting news there.

Is that a chance to save the league do you think, or does it just delay it by a year? Should give all he clubs time to come up with a workable solution should the problem come up again anyway.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

Ns i would agree atleast it wont be all, like "SUPRISE" next year if they cant get back on track. Clubs should start looking now for the future however awkward it may be.

Good on ya guys (Karoonda) for getting enough lads together to hit the park again! =D>
Hope all the old hands get back around your club this year!

my mail is karoonda or no karoonda there will be 15 games of course everone concerned would like to see karoonda stay in the comp. and it would be sad to see hocko and co. go to lameroo and see karoonda get there ass kicked every week i'm sure there heart is at karoonda so maybe they may have have a year of pain for the better of the club and hope it turns around for them next year just my opinion tho. i guess the other side of the coin is hocko is the wrong side of 30 and would like to go out with some sort of success catch 22 i guess ??????

I think Hocko runs a business in Karoonda, I guess this would have to weigh heavily on any decision he makes on where to play.

That'd work, I done the math wrong in my head me thinks?????

While no mathmetician- the problem arises (as it was pointed out to me!!) if you lose a team a bye comes into play- if it was made even and you played each team the same amount of times (eg 4) it actually extends the season longer than just a straight 16 weeks in this case?? Not sure if that works too well either?
It will be interesting to see how they go. Of course the best team Peake looks like having for a long time and they want to get rid of the league!!

Could be an omen Down & Out.

Peake & Dist. last premiership was in 1993, the final year of the Murray Lands FL.

James Dixon was his name, he only played around 6 games. He has left a pretty big hole, one that chris webb will gladly fill. Big Will is returning also, murrayville won't have a shortage of talls this year that is for sure!
