Bag & Sledge you generally have your finger on the pulse , if 151 is correct ill stand to be corrected.

One thing i did agree with 151's comments was The Gawler Centrals Supporters . I thought they were bad at West Croydon but those GC morons have no f-cking idea , if they carried on like that in a Div game they wouldnt last 5 minutes before having the living suitcase knocked out of them.

On closing congratulations to the two teams that have made the BL&G Grand Final , it should be a wonderfull spectacle at one of the finest suburban grounds. Hopefully the football gods can produce some fine September weather.
What i dont know about football isnt worth knowing .

Holden i can tell you some committee members are giving it a "us or the coach ultamatum" and someone has to go. Its common knowledge herzick is not liked by many of the players ( in my eyes thats no big deal, not there to make friends with the players ) but sponsors , supporters and definately some committee memebers want to see the back of him. Intresting times ahead at 'The Den'

Over the bridge , hot mail is Steven Connelly has been appointed coach for 2008. Should hear something official once the Grand Final is out the way.

Seelander has been appointed...

In regard to the SGFC situation... i dont know where you blokes get your information from.. i am deeply involved in the club and the only committee member leaving is the president, who gives Herz his full support. I know this forum is great for rumours and the like but this is just rubbish.

Stirlo if Brant has done such a good job this season why hasnt the club re-signed him for another year?

I believe Brant was appointed by a board that had former coach Peter Vivian on it? is that true?

Can you fill us in Stirlo?

as much as it pains me I gotta agree with hafey, the group of gc fans he's talking about are a joke!. In regards to Willaston being one of the finest suburban grounds, I hope you are talking about the surface only, the surrounds are a disaster

If a club has options it pays to keep them open.

I don't know who was responsible for making the coaching decision but i would suggest that milky would have helped the club to choose the right person to take them forward.

Willaston oval while being of good surface is a hell hole if windy, lets just hope for a fine day come saturday.

As for seelander taking players with him i doubt it, he couldn't get anyone to go with him to broadies and after the year he had doubt very much if any of those from broadies would follow him. His main recuiting area is from the barossa and doubt clubs would allow transfers within the association. Tough gig ahead, i wish him all the best!

It was on another thread that SJ is going to Macclesfield. Good luck Maccy - He hasn't exactly left too many fond memeories in his wake!! Hope Valley, Birdwood, Golden Grove and now Angaston. I'm not sure what Ango's think of him but I know the other three weren't overly impressed with him.

Big call by Maccy to sign him straight up for 3 years!

On the other point, I'd heard an exiting hills div 1 coach enquired about the Ango's job. Can anyone confirm?

Whoever angaston get re coaching position lets just hope they can bring some quality imports with them to bolster their young list. From what i've seen they have had good allocation of import spots yet have not been able to fill them over the past 2-3 years, which has hurt them against the bigger teams (barossa, tanunda).

As for saturday am tipping a close one with the boys from barossa making it 3 in a row! Who let the dogs out!!

Apparantly SJ promised plenty of recruits but they will cost Maccy a bit - Maccy don't have a problem with that.
Huge investment by them by the sounds of it.
Birdwood, Angaston, GG and any other footy club SJ has walked into better stitch up anyone that can move !
