I heard that story on the weekend. He played at Sollies last two seasons. Won the Medal last season comfortably and missed something like 7 games. Very good player and Sollies desperately wanted to keep him. Very good club man from all reports too.

I don't doubt some of those figures, especially when you're willing to pay a trainer $400 a week.

Ben Gordon and Peterson are shopping around and Peterson is asking for a fair bit of coin. Gordon just wants to have a kick. I was told Peterson is the one pumping himself a fair bit. I know Gordon kicked 60 odd goals this year, how did his mate go

Glen Sickerdick will be running for HFL President for next season and Owen will step aside but remain a director. A good result for the HFL.

Well i dont know how good your info is AF but if this is correct i think this is a great result. Having Gus in the top job, a bloke with a bit of drive and also managing to retain Owen. No matter what people say Owen has a great deal of knowledge and experience and i think this would be a great win for the HFL

While Uraidla were doing their premiership lap and Blackwood were dwelling on the one that got away .... the astute eye may have noticed Owen emptying the footies from the back of his ute and handing them over to a bloke who had a strong resemblence to 'Gus'. Done deal !

I sat next to Glen at the SANFL Coaches dinner on friday night and he alluded to this without coming out and saying it. Owen will remain on the comittee in a lesser role.
We want Vaughn.

Someone else just confirmed the Gordon and McDonald rumour to me. Is that right they are going to Willaston for a large amount of cash? Are they worth that much?

Hahahahaha, Well footy warrior you must be a lot closer to flash and jmac than I am (ie as close as a relative) coz what they have personally told me its no way near huge amounts... Flash was wanting to play with his cousin and his uncle coaches out there also, and Willaston were happy with Jmac concentrating on cycling for the first part of the season, and went to Willaston with flash as those 2 are best mates.
