Good to see limb!

Yeah well i was only making a point, i know theres the dislike there but the fixture has lost its sting IMO from a spectator not linked to the clubs. Im happy to be wrong.

I think i may head up there next year tho as the talent the Creeks provided on GF day was to be applauded greatly!

I ran into the Jervious coach, I think his name is Sam Mahoney and he said that they're all on board again. Hes especially happy with Bayliss signing up

I think Strath and Creek on ANZAC day is perfect.
I think the rivalry between these two clubs is very under estimated. the game is played with alot of pride and passion!

If you think that rivalry has lost its sting ask Todd Deletore I am sure he will correct you on this, after all he made to move from Strath to Creek. To do this at Strath you might as well have commited murder or pulled a Wayne Carey to one of the Smith family either way when he plays Strath he will have a bounty on his head!

The fact that there was talk of casting a bronze statue of Mitch Portlock amongst the good people of Strathalbyn after the grand final is a testiment to the feeling between the clubs.

Anyone else hearing that Strath are trying to get James Sitters back? Very handy player to get but with out Luke Jones I could not see him returning to rooster land.

Underrated?? I think not. We rated him highly at Willunga and he was always a guy we thought of before games.

He played association in the super side of 04 when Modra and Hams were up forward and kicked about 14 between them. Big Mods kickin a lazy 8! A highlight of my career was playin with the great man. Sitters in this particular game however kicked a torp from well inside the centre square and cleared Mods head in the goal square for the biggest goal ive seen!!!

Thats good to hear he got the respect he deserved from the deamons. With out a doubt Bish would have been trying to use him as some type of match winner against you BJ, from what players have said he does not like loosing to willunga.
I was at that association game and remember that goal, the guys can kick a mile off just two steps!

good news for the Mallee but not for Compass, they were both big contributors to the team.

I guess the thing we could afford to do was allow him to play his game as we backed ourselves in. But he definitely was on the radar no doubt about that and when he left for OS we certainly didnt try and convince him to stay at the Roosters!

Which club u involved with Kappars? U seem to have ur finger on the pulse around the area up there!

Big news there and a huge loss in Bailey who was right there with Burdett for importance to Compass. Schmidt a vaulable contributor also so a couple of big losses there. Money drying up at Bulldog Land?

It seems that Compass are losing a few of the gun players. Could be a long season for them next year!!!

Maybe the rumours late in the year about the unrest between the locals and the 'outsiders' at compass are not far of the mark. Then agagin maybe the mallee boys are just wanting to head home.

The talk coming into finals last year was that the money supply at Compass was drying up quicker than the murray!
I am not from any club in the GSFL just have some good friends that play in the league at a few different clubs thats all.
