grain grower i think ramblers will still be our biggest challengers purely and simply because they know how to win finals and as they showed last year they dont even have to finish in the top 2 to win the flag. i also think after the first 2 games cougars could be a challenger but i guess we will find out more this week after we play them and i also think lock even though they have lost their first 2 games will be a big challenger. i also think primey will kick less goals this year then the past couple as we are trying to find other avenues to goal so we dont have to rely on him kicking a bag for us to kick a decent score

tasmans do not think the b grade flag is the be all and end all.We are trying to rebuild our club and culture following the move to ravendale. In hindsight the move to the yacht club hurt us more then we thought with the loss of members and supporters. We are lucky to still have the likes of Deno Sticks Scooter Lanky etc running around giving us a strong b grade side.We have had a bit of success in the juniors that hopefully oneday transfers to our a grade if we can hang on to them.In the mean time i hope the old fellas keep on playing and keep on enjoying their success.

nothing wrong with having a competative b grade side. the clubs that dont have that luxury are usualy the ones to boast about not being b grade be all and end all.
Tasmans have a good blend in the bees and I always look forward to the clash with than as it is one game you know we are going to get challenged and have to be at your best.
Its up to the other clubs to come up to our (MR and T) standard.

when did you move to the yacht club?

Not jealous at all champ, a flag would be nice definately, 16 years without a premiership is a long time but i'm sure i'll appreciate it when one comes round(any grade).

steakn will jerry run with semler or do you lads have someone else for the job ?

I suppose, i'm not the coach of course, but this year we have probably 3 guys that would be up to the task including jerry.

One year off without the backing of compiling a whole Encyclopedia!! Not bad.

You would know 200KW, what is the longest premiership drought for an A grade team on EP?

its far too early to tell who is gonna take the top prize, GG should be put back in his box, big test against fired up cougars this week. ramblers not so impressive but write them off at your peril. lock will peak late. tumby thereabouts but may suffer from greg norman asthma again. UY a smokey, but i dont rate them, and the sainters will be a shock to someone who treats them like a B grade side. .
watch out mortlock great flinders is by far the best comp on EP lincoln are 3rd behind mid west who recruited well with tessman and parker, and remember prime didnt play last year..

Brock Birkin, has moved away this season to study but will still play a handful of games and finals of course! Polled well in the MM last season and is a ball magnet.

That is up there with the stupidest football related comment i've ever heard.
The first 25 of GFFL is still one very awesome unit. Think about it a bit first, they haven't lost many of that senior group.

Prime

CCurtis
Jeffo
Coad
Telfer
Birkin?
Wake
Halmann
Myers
Hazelgrove
Wedd
Green
Pedler

Minhard
RModra?
