As much as I wanted Moorook to win on Saturday, was great to see Steve Raeder kick 8 goals for Cobby.
Kid has a lot of talent just needed the discipline, which it appears Rod has instilled into him.
Something I was unable to do at Paringa...

How the heck did Paringa let that kid go????

He should be having a crack in RFL after what I saw on the weekend. Big, mobile, accurate.

Dunno, they lost him and Dean Hill at the same time.
He is a gun. Started the year at Berri before being lured to Cobby.

Ahhh I remember that clearance. There were a couple that went through to Berri and then ended up at Cobby I think. Good pick-ups for the Eagles.

Dean Hill is another who just needed some discipline. Looks like he's lost a heap of weight.

Barry Dawson wrote:Renmark played its worst footy of the year against Loxton North on Saturday.
Mind you, North made the most of their opportunities and played bloody well.
Anton Cook was pretty handy up forward and Willo dominated.
Josh Howard showed some talent for Renmark and Thorpe was good too.

Hasn't jeapordised a finals appearance has it Barry, are the Rovers still capable on their day?

Must say a very surprising result, no doubt Buckers fuming until the real Buckers took the field Sat night... Dare say odds on he was sleeping with the #5 stubby holder that evening.

They will have to work hard to recover from that.
Inconsistent year for the boys, which Brett will probably agree with.

Yes, he loves those Pies.
Won a carton off him a couple of weeks ago when Brisbane beat them...you little beauty!!

DW is a big Pie fan too...not Collingwood though

Heard Scott Mathew broke his leg on Saturday.
Big loss for the Roos' B grade.

Cobby's John Vagg broke his arm as well, while team-mate Sam Brand is on report for striking.

Just like his older (much older looking) brother will never learn & continue to back in their pathetic Victorian teams.

Gotta love the odds when you bet with these blokes... money for jam Barry!

spoke to the greasy pig saturday night. no jolly green whistle, just panadiene forte for the long drive to adelaide. not life threatening so he had to get his own way to adelaide. turns out he has a clean break through his fibula, and a displaced ankle. pins etc later he will be ok. depends on his swelling as to when he will have the op.

anyone know how vaggy is?

I could imagine the Pig was excited about the prospect of a drive to Adelaide.

Did hear an RFL A grade player went AWOL after the Vines on Saturday.
Couldn't find out any details, anyone know anything about this?

Geez sounds like a quality establishment Barry!

Recall a couple of our young lads getting a slight touch up when we ventured up for the trial game this pre-season, for no apparent reason...
