Knowing their coach is all but gone hey Moose. It's got to be a little disruptive at this time of year I'd suggest.

Seriously ATS, get a life! Your constant digs at Blackwood are getting tired and it's starting to look really sad. The last I saw, Blackwood just won the club shield, won the C grade premiership and have all teams in the finals (of which 4 of the 5 teams are playing for a spot in the GF).

Ironbank have one team in the finals - how about you worry about how your club is going before you worry about how the strongest club in the HFL in traveling.

Heard from some blokes at the happy valley game today that onkas smashed mt barker - can anyone confirm?
Was this an upset or would onkas have been predicted to get up?

I think every supporter that isn't aligned to Mt. Barker would be happy to see them out in straight sets

I didnt see the game yesterday, how did Blackwood play? Are Uraidla past their best? It certainly shapes up as an interesting game next Saturday... Does anyone have any idea where it will be played?

Who would be the favourites for the flag, for the 3 that are left? I reckon it would be Blackwood at $1.90, Uraidla at $2.30 and Onkas at $3.60........Anyone else got any thoughts?

I can't confirm this but I think it may be at windy hill seeing as Onkas are through. Probably would have been at balhannah if Onkas lost.
I'm picking the dogs to knock off uraidla. They're in form by what I've heard and uris looked slow and worn out yesterday in a very quick game.

Yesterday was a ripper of a game, loby oval was in great nick and both teams skill and polish were on show! Blackwood pushed out to seven goals half way through th second quarter and looked home before Uris pulled back and hit the front half way through the last! Blackwood kicked the last two goals of the day to win it! Their pressure was real good which really worried Uris as they couldn't move the ball freely with their usually clean ball skills! Vidic was injured I assume as he didn't take part in the game after quarter time! Plenty of feeling out there though so if Uris happen to make the GF should be pretty full on!
An today onkas just smashed barker, they looked to slow and couldn't keep up with the likes of Kirwin, Klun and both tanners! Butcher ended up with 5 or 6 and shee with 4 or so I think! Game was over at half tim with the score 11-7 to 1-7!
Mt barker the HFL chokers maybe??

Blackwood would be favourites given they are in the GF, but I'm still tipping Onkas. Best side but tough to go all the way from an elimination final.

Another great call by Owen and the twits, why have another final at Mt Barker! If you were going to have 2 finals somewhere why not at Lobethal. Grand final apparently at Hahndorf, so why not play a final at Mt Pleasant, great ground with heaps of parking!

Being an astute admirer of the game, I thought I would give my analysis on the exciting premilinary final that awaits.
First off, onkas forward line is given plenty of space to move and run. They are quick and if the ball is placed to their advantage hard to stop. Shee played CHF yesterday and gave a strong contest and finished with goals. The Uraidla back half is slower but wiser. They will rely on reading the ball as it is kicked in to chop off leads and work together to move the ball forward. Onkas probably with the edge at this end of the field.
The midfield battle will be hotly contested, Uraidla with the advantage in the ruck, down will get first hands on the footy most times but watching Sunday this didn’t stop the bulldogs midfields working hard in close to feed the ball out to numerous runners. Not having seen onkas play much this year, this seems to be an area where they have improved 3 fold. Onkas pace will worry the cabbage if the game is free flowing so if onkas win their fair share of footy, they will be impossible t stop as seen on Sunday.
Uraidla may have a slight advantage up forward with onkas not having the key posts to go with them in the air. However if the ball hits the deck they transition as good as any team in the comp with plenty of run. Uraidla’s key forwards need to take plenty of contested marks to win the game.
All in all I think the younger side with momentum going into the game should start as favourites. Onkas in my eyes are the team to beat, I will never write off Uraidla seeing them comeback on the weekend but I think onkas will have too much legs. Onkas by 6 goal.

I just checked the Sporting-pulse website and it says that Ironbank scored nothing (0). So therefore does that mean they have done something wrong. The only thing that I can think of to get your scored wiped after the game, is that they played an illegal player!

If this has been the case, ATS, you need to sort the matters out at your club before you starting baggin other clubs....
