Tough way to start the season but at least one of Yank or Pongy will be top of the ladder for at least 2 weeks :)

Rigby Barnes off to **** Bay, always talked about as being a pretty handy player. With Welsh and Neely, and the return of a couple of former players the Bays should improve even with the loss of Harvey.

Real quiet on here of late, I had a read back through some old posts and this forum used to be abuzz with activity. As much as we all disliked him, bring back Teflon Coated/FootyMad to stir some things up!

Whos everyone got in trials?

We've got Morphett Vale, Noarlunga and Uraidla.

McLaren playing Christies Beach and Handorf that I know of.
Revamped clubrooms hopefully up and running for round 1. Great work by volunteers (mainly the players & committee members with a trade) being done.

Should be a big occasion for the Willunga and Victor Senior Colts playing as curtain raiser to the Port/Freo game on Saturday.

And the netball doesnt even follow the football, so that makes it hard to get that club atmosphere for Round 1. I hate the idea, and i know im not the only one!!

Yank agreed to it with the favor to be returned next year. It's an idea that they're having a look at, if it doesn't work it, nothing lost.

Im sure thats what they are hoping but i wonder how many more will come? Considering they are halving their normal gate by makin the netball play 2 weeks later. Time will tell.

The idea's a good one but playing on Sunday is a pain - Friday night is the way to go.

Can anyone tell me much about Grant Brown and Jack Roads from EB? I hear they have signed up with club on KI. The club is quite excited to get them, what should we expect from them?

Also see Josh Hicks going back to Compass this year. Wish him all the best, he had an outstanding year last season and will be a big loss for us.

Handy name on the clearance list to Victor from Yank. Zac Perry, should fill some of the void left by Kruger.

T O C . That is a very interesting situation with Perry choosing to go to Victor . Something has gone pear shaped real quick as he has been doing the pre season with Yank.

Might be a Point situ as I see Lohde has applied also to head back to Yank. I would have Lohde well before Perry who IMO is overated.
