lol, but time will tell of course.

I think Welsh retired from WWT at end of 2010. Dunno if he played anywhere last year. Just turned 33 but if he did have a year off hopefully the body will have recovered and he will provide a good target for the bays.

Not coming cheaply either but do any recruits these days!

Did scott welsh play last year at woodville west torrens or the year before? Remember him being injured for a long time. Will be a very handy pickup if fit. The league hasn't really got any good goal kicking full forwards this year after losing ben warren and the year before yanks dundovic. Will be exciting to see especially if encounter bay can get the ball fwd of centre this year.

What 67 goals from Iljcesen wasn't enough to be called a good goal kicking full forward? Smarten up. He is as fit as I've ever seen him at the moment too, expect him to kick even more this year.

Definately a big loss for strath didn't know anything about it until i checked out clearances page y'stday. 3 time best and fairest for strath has been chased hard over the last few years by other clubs and has stuck with us. But unfortunately this year he is heading back to his home club happy valley to play with his brother michael. Can understand his decision but a huge loss to cover his explosive speed and skill around the packs.

How many clubs has that bloke been linked to? Apparantly he lives around the corner from morphies. Good to see he didn't end up at the creek$ who are apparently were chasing him very hard to cover the loss in feast.
In regards to the full forwards sorry old chestnut forgot about iljcesen definately a big handy full fwd who can kick a bag just needs some others to help around him.

Almost a week without a post in this forum is unheard of!!!

Come on people, what's the latest?

Have Yank lost anymore players besides Pratt? Have they definitely signed 2 young kids from Echunga?

Has BJ turned up to training for the Demons yet?

Has Haskett recovered from his OS trip or is he looking at moving into BJ's old size 42 shorts?

How are McLarens looking this season? They have lost Greenbank, anyone else left?

Has Frank been out to training for the Bays since last week? Rumour had him and a couple of other boys leaving, are the still out there?
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Greenbank isn't the most committed bloke...if he did commit himself he would be a massive loss and probably playing league footy! Driving 4 hours to Kaniva will be interesting to see if he sticks the year out. No other losses out at mclaren!

Johnson has quit South (oops, Panthers) due mainly to work commitments and has returned to Langhorne Creek. Will be more than a handy replacement for Warren.
Also which speedy Creek player suffered a broken jaw in a hotel incident after being in the wrong PLACE at the wrong time ?
