You blokes need to keep emotions out of your posts. It's a leg up for Onkas that they beat Uraidla. I think the final 5 will finish as it is now, but nothing is certain.

Sadly, being a Devs fan, I'm leaning towards this being the likeliest outcome. Onkas & IB getting it done at the right time. I jinxed the Devs with my commenst early on ie the teams that keep their best on the park for the longest will go a long way...Devs are gone. Might only get one more win & that won't get them in with other results.

Would be interested to know if the opinions have changed now on Steve Wallace as the Onkas coach from what they were when he was appointed.

Mayhem at Blackwood... Cmon BB, they can't silence you forever. Pull the knives out your back and explain the massive rift between the playing group. Does anyone like each other anymore?

That's funny Moose, I heard a good number of them want to knock each others blocks off. I guess you could call UFC very tight and spirited.

Cmon Moose, I guess you weren't at the crisis meeting last week. The club might be able to silence the posters on the forum but it doesn't stop the players talking in the streets, pubs and work. Definately lots of inhouse problems at Blackwood.

Those 'in-house' problems can't be that bad. Woods secured a comfortable 7 goal win over uraidla today!!!

Anyone got any results from today, nothing on Sporting Pulse as usual. Ironbank defeated Torrens Valley 19 - 16 to 13 - 10 big last quarter from the Thunderers

Doesn't mean everyone likes each other Moose. It's not as if your the first team to beat Uraidla this year, good win though. Proves you can't hate each other and still play good footy... for now.

So now that Luke Nitschke cant win the mail medal due to yesterday red card, who goes favourite? Daniel Ebert maybe?

I wouldn't say that Nitschke is out of contention yet. Red card definately wasn't warrented, a free kick and down field yes. But umpire was useless and paniced when Onkas remonstrated and instead of paying the free down field to get the players moving again he eventually pulled out a red card.

I think the things that will work against him are the following:
Did he raise his elbow? Yes
Did his feet leave the ground? Yes
Did he make contact with the head? Yes
Was it off the ball? Yes
Was the player able to complete the game? No
Will a hospital/Doctors report be raised to the tribunal? Unknown?
Sorry if this seems harsh trooper but im just thinking what questions will be raised by the tribunal.
Takes alot to knock out a 6ft.6 ruckman but i think if he pleads guilty he will get 2 weeks or non-gulity maybe 3-4weeks

Elbow was not raised Atlantis, it was a late bump, and the players head hit Nitschke's Sholder. Klun was heard to comment that there was nothing wronng with the bump other than it being slightly late and slightly high but not intentially high. Definately not a red card offence.

It could easily be said that the umpire, players and supporters have reacted so ferociously against the act because bumps like this are not seen often at HFL level. That bump highlighted the difference between a bump at league level and one at Hills level.

The roo's seem to be coming good and the right end of the season. Anyone from lofty or blackwood, their past two opponents, care to give us an insight? or anyone from mt barker care to tell us about their recent form. With uraidla stumbling right now this comp could have a winner from anyone in the top 5.
