It could work, but why a club would stoop to that sort of thing is beyond me. While it is an anomaly that one div 6 player is zero points yet one from another club is 2, it probably isn't a big issue, esp when an A1 reserves player would be zero. I'd rather they sorted the loophole that allows players like Perry and Durdin that played reserves but a majority as overage under 18s to be zero points.

Steve Fairhurst that moved to and played for Victor this year came from Smithfield (2pts) had a very good year too. Wouldn't be classed as a star, but and honest hard worker - was in the best players 6 times from despite struggling to get on the park (only played 11 games). Showed some supposed stars what it means to play hard, committed football. Having stuffed his knee late in the year he will be sorely missed.

Any truth to the rumour that Danny Meyer is on his way to the Mudlarks? He has a brother out there doesn't he?

Hear that James Prest is heading back to Encounter Bay next year and taking a few mates with him. I think one of them played at Prince Alfred College with James last year. He will be an interesting pick up for the Bays - saw him play a few games in 2010 and is either pretty good or the opposite!
