The difference between top & bottom in both leagues really needs to
Be sorted.
Hills football is the laughing stock of country footy at the moment.
It may have more to do with Country Div. but both Div. comes under the HFL

The only thing that needs sorting is your grammer pall

I agree with the other responses, Brook - COUNTRY is what you're talking about, not Central. Central is the healthiest it's been in a long time re competitiveness, with the worst team (Shanty) even getting probably about 7-10 goals better in the second half of the season.

So, on to Round 12:
Onkas v Blackwood - What are Onkas gonna bring? If it's their A game they'll come close but do they have the height/bodies for the Woods forward line? Toughie! Woods by 7 pts.
Bridgewater v Uraidla - umm...the D's, even if they're resting players, by 75 points.
Hahndorf v Lofty - if Lofty are to be considered a title threat, they've GOT to win this. They play OK out there. The Devs in another thriller, under a kick.
Ironbank v Barker - AH! Another tough one. Even with their tails up & loving their own deck, I'm gonna pick against IB. Roos by 27 pts, they're still a real chance at a flag.
TV v Lobethal - Lobey is showing signs that they'll win a few more and I think this will be one of them - Tigers by 8 goals.

With heavy rain in the hills forecast for tommorrow, will Blackwoods height have a negative effect?

JQ as you ask, Ironbank will spank Barker tomorrow on Thunder Park they have put the panic into them at the Barker oval now for the last couple of years. The Barker boys do not like the attention that Gary will demand and on the "ice-ring". They will not be able to get away from it and the on ball tacklers will really turn the tide early, they just need to keep reminding them to complete the play.

Lobey will finally put a demon to bed and Blackwood will also squash Onkas 8)

Blackwood over Onkas in the A grade today. Think it was 9-3 to 3-8. Better side won.
B grade def Onkas by 10 goals in one of the worst umpiring performances of all time!! Both sides were scratching their heads all day with some very confusing decisions.

Well I was right although in the shocking conditions it didn't reflect on the Board.

Ironbank 6 10
Mt Barker 3 5

Tackling from the young local Ironbank guys really set the scene and never allowed the Mt Barker game to flow.
Any other scores?

well done Loby, good to see there getting back on track! Seriously though HFL what a monumental stuff up to bring up this prostitution of a football club and send Birdwood packing for this disgrace. TV to be a minnow in HFL within 3 years, no Garry no money, no players, no hope!

have to agree. was at balhannah last saturday and it was embarrassing to see the scores in the junior grades. my advice to gary hughes (for the sake of his club) is to return to country division in 2012.

As got up by maybe 5 or so goals in the end, there is no club feeling at tv and apparently all there recruits don hang around after games so how can they possibly have a club when they just take their cash and leave? They have gone backwards and will keep doing so until they go back to divvy two!

What would Luke Nitschke's chances be him winning the medal. Each week he is best or second best for lobey. Considering they have improved this year he would be up there. Having said that Damien(ledge) King dominates for years and never won a medal. Having played footy with ledge I thought he was by far the best player. Anyone know what he is doing now

The club has just six wins out of sixty that have been played in all games (junior and senior) this year.
The juniors are not learning anything from this at all. The move to Central was purely for the egos of some of the Senior coaches and players; it may well set the club back many years. Maybe regular members need to be more active to prevent these type of moves.
