Thought the pink footys were awesome to watch, forgot to ask the boys what they were like to kick/handle. Any complaints?

Hows the man in picture Dave Flaherty after returning to IB?

Still the pitbull??

Apparently Barker have recruited a big ruckman in an attempt to replace Fisher. I thought they would want to get another gun midfielder but I guess each to their own. Apparently Block suggested recruiting this big man as he is the best ruckman he has ever played with. Be interesting to see if this eventuates

Does that mean he is the best ruckman to play 2s footy for Glenelg over the last decade?

Neither Block nor Fisher played midfield when we played them this year.
If you read the Courier their ruckman is off to the East Coast with work!
A replacement to him would be imperative to their young midfield, I would have thought!

There are some dead set wankers that talk a lot of crap on here about clubs they know little or nothing about! I know people can hide behind their mask here but honestly, talk about the club you are a part of! I would much rather read a dialogue of a game and finalist predictions than read minor bickering about what happens behind closed doors at another club! No wonder so many people have stopped reading and posting on this forum!

Thats my two cents FWIW.

This week;
Uraidla to beat OV by 4 goals. Too good all over the park.
Would like to say Barker but believe the Woods are more settled and playing better footy at this stage, by 3 goals.
Hahndorf to beat Lobey, 2 goals, flip of the coin.
Lofty over TV by 8 goals.
IB over Bridgey by 12+ goals!

I'd suggest Lachy Button - but this may be subject to a medical OK from Glenelg's Dr Ces

He hasn't played footy since near end of last season - and it wasn't in the 2's

I heard the same thing last week, when we were supposed to play them but they had forfeited and quit the comp, because there coach had quit and they didn’t want to play.

Tips for the week -

Dogs v Demons

Woods v Roos

Magpies v Tigers

Devils v Lions

Thunderers v Raiders

should be another good round, with 4 out of 5 games with both teams that could win on there day.

He's a gun. Big pickup for Onkas. Steve Wallace would of convinced him to go over

Mt Barker over Blackwood by 10+ goals today at Windy Hill. The Roos were more determined, hungrier, cleaner and better skilled team today, they taught Blackwood how to play footy today. Blackwood also has some head-scratching to be done, with more injuries sustained during today’s game.

What sort of injuries do you have BB? I heard you were playing some U17s in the As. Are these opportunities available to the kids due to the long injury list?

not sure on the other injuries that they have but I was there for today's game and there were 3 that I noticed. The big forward that kicked a goal on half-time sat in a dressing gown for the whole of the 2nd half, a younger player recieved a knock to the head early and didnt come back on, and another player sustained a shoulder injury but it didn't look to be too bad though.

on the playing of the under 17's, had a talk to some club people and there was only one current senior colt played.

Couldnt help but notice yesterday while watching the B grade a gentleman in the mould of Damien Gigney stood at Full Forward. I assume with Blackwoods current form they've asked him to make a come back?
