Jamesy has no hope. How many EP footballers waltz in from the country and get a gig in the A's game 1. Are you the Norwood version of Leonidis????

Just got back from a trip to Lincoln and everywhere I turned there was talk of footy, seems like some healthy rivalry as well. One thing that caught my eye was the state of the ovals. The ones I saw Centenary, Bostons, Ravendale and Mallee Park were in exceptional condition. I was envious of how green they all were considering the lack of rainfall.

I agree, despite how much we complain about local ovals, ie Ravendale and MP. We are blessed with some awesome ovals, Centenary, Bostons(Poole), Wangary. To a lesser extent Ravendale and MP, even they are not bad when condtions are good.

This seasons footy would surely have had to have had one of the bigger build ups in recent times due to big name signings, big name rumours and a huge amount of bull*#$% that everyone has dribbled on this site :D

PL is very lucky with the facilities it provides. Metro footy in Victoria will probably have a delayed shortened season because of lack of rainfall. Local club my son plays for can't even train on their home oval because of the state of the ground. All junior training has been farmed out to nearby school ovals, and in some cases they haven't even started training. Their under 18's haven't got a ground to train on at present.

Never thought I would say this, but give me Ravendale any day...

Mate, very happy with her. Great feeling to win a city race at best of times, but when you have bred her it is something again.

Hopefully got a few more left in her before the spelling paddock calls. A very honest and tough mare and Stacey has done a tremendous job with her.

Got a couple of ones in the sight at the moment. Keep the Faith and Kempinsky are two we are looking at.

Jeez poor old rossco has copped a bagging. Love to see what they would be saying if he wasn't the reigning premiership coach.

Speaking from experience big man... I think u will find its not the being found out, they can play the country boys its the other stuff that goes with it like training and being owned for 9 months of the year. look at ryan darling from sturt, blinder first year but was too much for him so went home. trust me jamesy will go well if he works hard and does the right thing by him self
