as an outsider just going on by what i read on this site. i think the PFFL would be wise to just get rid of mallee park and bring in a new team say from North shields and the mallee park players would spread amongst the 6 teams. i think this would not only benefit port lincoln footy but the whole community as then the 2 races because they are playing footy with each other it might help them get along more outside of footy and get rid of the US vs THEM mentallity you guys all talk about

CU i dont know if you can remember what ravendale used to be like.I can remember going out there for the first few games.Having to make sure your hepatitis shots were up todate before entering the toilets for needles and general filth.Broken rub down benches, broken water heaters, walking 50m to get to the canteen and while i wouldnt knock the efforts of Matty Roberts and the WFC the beer van was hardly adequate, despite many an enjoyable afternoon spent there.Ive had 2 major injuries from ravendale 1 resulting in 2knee operations and a cracked collarbone from a substandard surface.I say thank you to Burfitt and the council for giving todays players less chance of gong through this.

Sonya I am not disputing the fact that it is much better out there. Cleaner, outstanding surface, safer, good facilities (changreooms/canteen/bar/viewing area) I agree with you. What I dont agree with was 'Burfitts vision' (ravendale community sports centre as a business) and I have been proven correct and so has everyone else. Do you know how many kegs per week had to be drank out there to break even? (I know you do your bit in that department)

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

MP, Steiger:

Mallee Miller would have been the M.Miller that kicked 5, but W. Bilney? Does that mean the rumours were true about the brothers returning?

Saw only the last quarter after I bagged out at Farm, very slick and definitely back in contention. Souths and Tasmans having break through years but reckon one might be stiff now to not even make the GF. Mallee's will get there again unfortunately, IMHO

I spoke to Joe Burgoyne he said they are starting to get momentum.
that means the fax machine is going overtime at the PLFL
with clearances and permits.
Once again we are a bunch of idiots to let this happen time and time again.
