As for Lindsay Bassani coaching at the Bay again next year! The current footy department Isn't that smart to appoint the BEST coach at the club since Todd Butler! And he wouln't do the job - thru the lack of Support (Money) that the footy department has on offer! ie. Pay Peanut's get Monkey's.

ONCE AGAIN SIGNMAN YOU HAVE NO * idea.. shame. How the hell would you know what kind of money the Bays have to pay a coach.. and isnt there an old saying "always look forward".. why would we want Bass back.. We have much better fish to fry...

As for the Encounter Bay Treasurer.. Shes the only one on your side so it was decided she should have a chat to you.. Shame you speak of her like that...

Once again I believe you need to think about what the * you write on here caus you got no idea..

OH hows your coaching apps going...

Oh perhaps I better tell her you slander her on here caus she may not be as quick to send work your way.. as she always does..

After all those years of calling the game of the day of the GSFL on that fm radio station, you'd think Kevin and Co would know more than 2 or 3 names from each team. I know they're volunteer callers BUT at least they could give the scores more than once a Qtr. Had to listen for at least 10 minutes to get a score from them.

Willunga do it again. Still have the upper hand over Creek in finals.
Will be an interesting grand final if Creeks are in, with Willunga having the finals card and the Creeks having the home ground where they have beaten Willunga for the past six years.

Creeks will be real nervous, wont want to go out in straight sets and have to watch the GF on their home oval.

Um, Avoided going out in straight sets by Beating Strath last week. ;)
Know what u mean but i think the 2 best sides will play off in the GF. Willunga & Creeks that is.

Low scoring again. Interesting that Steele and Feast were named best for their respective sides.

Face book says 1 point, bob Martin says 1 point, Gerald virgin says draw, time keeper says draw, scoreboard says draw so it's up in the air a little bit. Unfortunately with the game going longer than expected there was no time to sort the issue out in a calm and calculated matter because the a grade had to start so mclarens go through. Epic final. Mclaren boys very humble and we took it on the chin

Interesting result, does Bob Martin's opinion have the most weight, or did facebook decide? Sounds like well done to Goolwa for accepting the decision.

Realistically looking at that - I would have thought Gerald Virgin, time keeper and scoreboard all indicating the same result would have overruled 1 other by way of Bob Martin?? Interesting.

Such an important decision surely can't be brushed off so easily?
Could we hear more - or is McLaren winning actually now set in concrete?

(not taking anything away from either team, just find it an interesting turn of events)

Very unfortunate situation but cant believe that the game would be awarded to McLaren without
the officials being CERTAIN of the result.
Not sure of the proper procedure in these circumstances but was told by an umpire during the year that his take on the situation is that in the event of a discrepancy between the 2 goal umpires then the HIGHER score of the 2 goal umpires will be awarded. Dont know if this is what they did in this case. Knowing of both goal umpires i'd have my money on Bob being right more than Gerald.

The winner of todays 'A' grade match look likely to meet a well below full strength Creek line up next week after the Creeks suffered quite a few injuries from yesterdays match.

The players were in position about to start extra time when the final score was agreed on. The A Grade would have waited. The McLaren bench were sure they were a point more than the scoreboard had them.
