The football romantics down at McLaren would be hoping that an ex player like one David Earl will throw his hat in the ring for the coaching gig... Wonder if thats any chance of happening???

Strathalbyn's Darcy Hourigan (15 years old) will make his League debut this week for South Adelaide vs Norwood. Last years GSFL Junior Colts Mail Medalist captained this years South Adelaide U/16 side and also represented South Australia at the U/16 championships held in Sydney. After a successful State campaign Darcy played numerous U/18 games before making his Reserves debut. After featuring in the best players a number of times Darcy has been selected to play League which is a great achievement and a reward for all his hard work.

Could be a chance, he wants a change next year, perhaps convince him to bring his son as well.

Luv's Footy - Is there any truth in Corey Smelt ex, Glenelg, Impirial's, Kangarilla, Tailem Bend & current Karoonda Coach taking on the reins at Port Elliot/Goolwa Next year! That's the talk coming from the Bridge this week! ?

As for Lindsay Bassani coaching at the Bay again next year! The current footy department Isn't that smart to appoint the BEST coach at the club since Todd Butler! And he wouln't do the job - thru the lack of Support (Money) that the footy department has on offer! ie. Pay Peanut's get Monkey's.

Still very Tall, thanks for the interest! From Yourself, Grant Levy & The Encounter Bay Treasurer! Keeping him close to the Chest,
Put the cheque book away as U (Goolwa) are in the front seat as he already live's in Goolwa & his eldest is already playing for the Port Elliot/Goolwa F.C.........................That's got ya thinking Luv's Footy!

Semi-final weekend...not that you'd know it from this place!

Hard to pick either game really. Strath have only lost to Creeks and Willungax2 (+pongy) this year and would expect them to beat Yank again. Yank took till after 3/4 time before hitting top gear to dispose of an undermanned Victor but they looked impressive all the same. I find it hard to see the plan of sitting 2 kids on the bench getting them too far, but you never know. I also wonder what guys like Braendler or Howes who kicked 7 in round 18 in the B's feel about it.

Creek and Willunga have been the best sides this season with both losing only 3 games (creek to Yank, Victor and Strath and Willunga to Creek, Creek and Bays) and should end up in the GF together. I reckon Creeks this time but with no confidence.

Heard that a few players have been hit by the gastro bug at the creek so they have named an extended squad only heard two names (ben moore and shane rothe) maybe more be interesting if they all play? Still expect creek to get up by 4-5 goals, they should be too quick for willunga up forward. But you can never right willunga off barry pilmore and his boys would have done there homework.
In the other game strath v yank will be a tight game especially if it is in the wet i'm picking strath by a goal. A few more runners and skill should get them over the line. Are yank needing to put two colts on the bench to sneak in under the points system?

Yep played 15 points last week minus 2 for the colts = 13. That was without Borlace (2), Howes (1) or Braendler (3) or Tyson Gordon (3 also but hasnt played much this year) . I have heard Borlace's knee is shot and wont play again.

One thing Yank werent short of last week was runners - Labastida, Brazier etc. No one could catch Zac Perry either.

Willunga to win the A grade - weather will suit them. Pongy a sneaky chance in the 2's for the same reason.

ONCE AGAIN SIGNMAN YOU HAVE NO please don't avoid the swear filter idea.. shame. How the hell would you know what kind of money the Bays have to pay a coach.. and isnt there an old saying "always look forward".. why would we want Bass back.. We have much better fish to fry...

As for the Encounter Bay Treasurer.. Shes the only one on your side so it was decided she should have a chat to you.. Shame you speak of her like that...

Once again I believe you need to think about what the * you write on here caus you got no idea..

OH hows your coaching apps going...
