And by the sounds, a nice fat needle in MT leg should get him through.

Anyone with some unbiased tips please? Understand it would be hard to go against ya club but please. Lofty in both senior grades I understand but picking lofty in the 17s. That surely cant be backed by anything. It wont be an upset if lofty win by the way cos everyone is tipping em. S Masling did have a quiet game. I'v heard all you peeps rave on about him but what I saw on saturday wasn't too impressive. Managed to score 2nd best though... lil dubious i thought. Can;t judge to harshly on one week though...

As mentioned earlier, I do believe you wouldn't see most A grade coaches running for the 17s bcos most runners in the 17s aren't injured. I do know of a few coaches who have been out to every junior game this year so lets not slag them all.

Whats wrong with lobethal everyone?? Is the ground in the bad a nick?

Also heard talk just last week Birdwood are now not coming up. Has there been any definite decision on this for next year?

yeh no doubt it can be done. Just trying to even up the forum with some anti lofty views haha.

Ah though two years ago is two years ago and i think you will find back then there were alot of sturt and college players coming back. This year I've heard none have which is a good thing. Means players who played all year are there at the business end.

Still no ideas about Birdwood neone? or the lobies oval?

Apparently the Loby oval is in pretty poor shape. Plenty of mud and slippery patches.

The Devils U17's went very close to beating Blackwood during the regular season. Winger - write them off at your peril. Never underestimate the power of the Devils fighting spirit.

I suppose picking the Devils in the Senior Colts isn't backed by anything though, as they beat an ordinary team last week who were just making up the numbers!!!!!!!

I'm Lofty but I'm happy to hear any other views on this weekend's games as well.
I agree that the 17's are hard to pick a Lofty win. Perhaps they've had their GF??
But in the top 2 grades it really should be Lofty. Just too good plus Uraidla having played 2 more games in the last 3 weeks than Lofty could take a toll late in the game.

I've heard Lobey Oval is halfway between Shanty and Barker. No grass, and a gooey substance in between sand and mud residing over the entire oval. Disappointing effort by the Tigers considering that getting their oval in tip top shape is what they do best. Cos their best asset certainly isn't playing football! Maybe it was Schulz's tears providing the excess water after Rob O'Gorman gave him the 5 finger sandwich!

Balhannah is a ripper spot to watch the footy at, but you better get there early because it's going to be packed. Certainly more people than at Footy Park and the standard will be better too! Haven't seen to much flooding or time wasting lately in HFL.

Interesting to hear Birdwood aren't coming up. Don't know how much truth in that rumour. Maybe they should just give Adam Trzsenicki his own team. How do you think the 'Triggers' would go in 2007? They certainly wouldn't be short of free kicks and they would get plenty of Mail Medal votes!

haha good call on trigger bernie.
There's no doubt that onkas is a great ground to play at but it falls down terribly in the way of parking etc. in hindsight i'd say that hahndorf would have probably been a better overall venue for it. the ground was in great shape on saturday.

RE Great Southern GF.

I heard the GSFL president on Victor Harbor radio speaking the other day, he mentioned that the Creeks were endeavouring to get Lee Saunders (who played with LC whilst waiting for a clearance from South Adelaide to Glenelg mid year) to play this week. If he plays he'd be a considerable boost for the Creeks (Glenelg lost Reserves Elimination final on Saturday so presumably he'd be a chance of playing).

You'd have to think that Willunga would start favourites with their recent grand final experience though.

ye there would be no reason for lee not to play as he is qualified to, hes a quality hard running midfielder.
they finished minor premiers and had a couple of injuries in semi final they lost.
should be a good day however with both teams A and B grades playing, strongest 2 senior squads.

It is a joke man, its what me and a few mates at school came up with, and the people i was talking to it about are Brett pistola, shaun gould, david abernethy, blake turner weebreck, and even brad hutton, and they are all lofty boys.. your paying out of hahndorf doesnt bother me im not associated with them anymore. As i said in a previous post i am getting my devils guernsey to the game this weekend.

Willunga likely to have a full squad to choose from MP24?
