look out for the lions in 2008...

Would that be Chris Gregory by any chance? I was speaking to Chris about 3 weeks ago and he indicated he was jumping on board the BDT wagon.

nah just found out this morning, kym marwick or something. he is a PE teacher at coonalpyn or maybe coomandook or something?

Kym Markwick isn't a bad player - can really get under an opponents skin!!

I'll reserve my judgement on Peake until the first few rounds have been played but they'd want to pick up at least 6 quality footballers to make the finals, especially with the Paralowie lads going back to town.

Yeah Shannon Whyatt. He's a freak, plays tall, if he can get a little bit fitter this year he will carve up the opposition. He played a fair bit out at Westies too, I think he played a few league games. He wears a helmet when he plays now because his skull was badly fractured and he had to have it reconstructed or something. Flying Ant might be able to fill in more accurate details though
His cousin Kev Whyatt who wore no. 7 last year for us is a fair gun as well.

Shannon wyatt now has about $20,000 worth of screws and plates holding his skull together... pretty horific injury, happened nearly 4 years ago now while playing with west adelaide. was running back with the flight of the ball only to recieve a team mates knee to the face... didn't play football for nearly two seasons and rightly so! very gutsy to return, very good player, very happy to have him back playing for murrayville!
Didn't mean to offend with my earlier comment, but i agree with Brocky, Peake will need to pick up at least another 4-5 quality players to be contenders this year.

Wow - that's a huge comeback from Shannon. What a gutsy comeback. Has he heard of a bloke called Jimmy Hird? Maybe they could compare battle stories.

there are rumours that karoonda maybe folding. can anyone comment on this issue????

murrayville has picked up a few recruits. one being the excitment machine from pinnaroo , jimmy struck. should mop up alot of crumbs from around the feet of the likes of drew crane shannon wyatt and clayto sporn. not to mention the flying ant lurking about. looks promising at this stage.there is also another mystery player too but this info cannot be revieled at this stage!!!!
