Ian Beebey looks likely to coach the killer bees after talking to him over the weekend

The cricket was a good spectacle on both nights. The support was great but I do have one gripe and that goes to the clubs who brang their own beers and one club even sold it for their own benefit.
It was a night to support the association and its a shame that some clubs choose to do that. Any commnets from those involved?

The helicopter rides where a rip off. 2 minutes and 45 seconds it went for.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Good win for the EP lads on 1st day of Country Carnival.
Bowled Murray Districts ( Riverland / Broken Hill) out for 64 and passed them 4 down.
With the predicted heat for the rest of week there are going to be stuffed lads by Friday.

Apparently Tassies have lost four players including Cimma & Lamont. Also the first wave of recruits from Adelaide they thought they were coming are not and in turn the mates they were bringing are now also not coming.

It's a bloody tough gig selecting the side. Who would u have in it that isn't playing?

Boys are playing a Twenty20 today - EP made 148 and they're 2/53 off 10/.

why is it tough? however I must admit the qaulity of cricket has dropped here this season. Why isn't Ben Smith playing? or Luke Yancic?

Availability I guess. 2 weeks off work is a tough ask, especially when you're paying your own way - carnival should be reduced to 1 week IMHO.

EP 148 def Fleurieu Gold 125.
