1QG 1QB 2QG 2QB 3QG 3QB 4QG 4QB PTS
Goolwa-Pt El 3-1 8-2 10-2 10-3 63
Victor Harbor 2-0 4-0 6-1 10-1 61

Looks like a cracker of a Senior Colts game by the scores LF - what did you think of it? Bit different to the 10 goal thumping Victor received last time!

Must have been good. We were in cruise mode in the second half but victor must have rallied and stormed home. Didn't catch the second half and actually only found out via the paper that the margin was so close. Very lucky for our boys because they need to finish top to avoid a clash with a school trip. I have heard that there are several clubs been affected by similar things. Wouldn't schools work around winter sport and finals?

On another note mail medal invites are out. Alex jones and Hayden Wilson (who both won't be in our clubs top 10 in our b&f) are our 2 nominees with stringer and fox in the B's who will be big chances. I've been tipping ewer as my smokey which was obviously off the mark

Since when do schools trips involve Weekends ?
Surely the players would put footy b4 a school trip anyway.

 Of course - slipped my mind you'd be getting ready. Better game than the B's and A's (glad I stayed home). I guess that school trip might ours too then :-?
Next week is interesting in the SC too with 1(goolwa) v 4(Compass) and 2(Will) v 3(VH) with VH and Compass on equal pts. Hopefully we can hold onto the second chance.

Round 18 August 27th
Strathalbyn V Myponga-Sellicks After a good run mid-season, Pongy haven't been able to beat the better sides - season over. Strath to win.
Victor Harbor V Willunga Hard to mount a case for Victor with only 1 win over the top 4 sides, esp with top spot still up for grabs. But their best is good enough so Victor with the heart.
Mt Compass V Goolwa-Pt Elliot Goolwa seem to have pulled stumps early. Compass to win.
McLaren V Encounter Bay Who knows... McLaren belted by 131 by VH, then 3pts by Strath, then 110 by Creeks. I guess Bays
Langhorne Ck V Yankalilla Yank won the earlier clash but Creek probably too good at home.
