Word around Pirie is Phillips is going back to Ports next year. I was also told Burfitt prob wont be playing with Jamestown- is he a chance to return also to Ports?

One dude on the Spencer Gulf forrum said Woolford AND Turner might be playing for Central Augusta.(I doubt this will happen.)

Burford has left the Pies but as one ruckman leaves Vic Park another returns I believe!! Also hear we have a couple of very good players returning after a number of years!! O points for possibly 4 players, leaving plenty of room to move.

Just on that - Can anyone tell me what the rules for the point system is as they apply to the Northern Areas because I am hearing varying versions from league to league. Kowree, Naracoorte, Tatiara FL apparently have points carrying over from last year and the year before which I think is good because otherwise the wealthy clubs keep "imports" on the books for no penalty meaning it will be some years before things might level out. Some leagues will not have this I have heard. Another confusing part of this system is that some Leagues will give all teams the same points while others will allocate points according to the previous seasons win tally.
Any comments?? (Not likely looking at the inactivity on this site )
