Was it the Barossa Light League where the young 19 year old girl made her debut as a central umpire on Saturday. Saw it on the News but not sure if it was this league or the Adelaide Plains League.

Fair sort too

Saw the Barossa v Freeling game yesterday and Barossa looked very good although Freeling without FB CHB and Ruckman and a proven goalsneak in Newberry, they should finish 1 and 2 and have a good finals series. Tanunda should finish 3rd and Willaston should hold on to 4th, with Tanunda accounting for them in the 1st semi. Barossa were at pretty full strength yesterday and them and Freeling should play off in the GF again. Grand final at the moment should be played at Nuri this year

I would imagine Freeling wouldnt be too concerned with yesterday's result , they rested a few guys who weren't 100% and got a good look at Barossa at full strength.

Tanunda V Freeling Grand Final is my call , might even get Mrs Hafey to pack a cut lunch and take the drive up to Nuri for that one .

If Willaston get over Tanunda in the 1st Semi, they will through the cat amoungst the pidgeons and go down to Freeling in the GF.

over the next 2 rounds Freeling will get about 5 or 6 back who didnt play on sat, if Freeling can beat Barossa in the second semi anyone can play them in the GF. Angaston wont be happy rolling up to redleg park this week after saturdays loss, then Freeling travel to Willaston for final game the same time Kapunda play Barossa, if Kapunda can win both games and Willaston lose to Freeling then Kapunda can make the four

How do the BL&G officials decide where the GF is held each year?

The GF is decided on a rotation system between the three areas, Barossa, Light and Gawler

Finals start this week with Tanunda v Willaston on sat at Freeling oval in the 1st semi, with the 2nd semi next week at Angaston with a rematch of last years gf Barossa v Freeling

My tips would be Tanunda by a fair amount over the struggling Willaston and next weeks game to go down to the wire with Freeling to come up on top and then Barossa to lose two in a row and go down to Tanunda who will eventually go down to Freeling in the Gf
