**** me, for a second time this week - I flagged this in November or December last year.

Doesn't matter, Lofty are going to struggle this year!

What on earth is that based on? White was still kicking goals in Div 2 amateur, Cuttso's a good in, and a massive ruckman added...all into a team that finished 3rd. What are you on, lebron?

This might be old news to some people on here but heard from a Hahndorf official yesterday that their President told the club at their AGM that the club is keeping to its Youth Policy and don't expect to be back up the top of the ladder for at least 3 years.

Based on their midfield! Almost all teams will have a better midfield than Lofty and that will make them struggle! Or would you say their midfield is better than any of the top 7 from last year?

Never said, not even implied at the AGM.

We'll have to wait and see lebron. But let me get this straight..... so even though the Lofty midfield wasn't in the top 7 from last year, they still managed to finish 3rd? Which is considered struggling in your books? Ok makes perfect sense, just keep the brilliant predictions coming.

=D> Gotta agree. Lofty weren't the highest scorers and their backline was pretty good, but got 3rd. So this along with (according to you) a midfield that's at best 8th in the league, and they still managed to finish 3rd.
That premiership's gone to your head, oh wait...

will be a handy in, if his body can stay right. Saw him running around the oval, and I must say that he didnt look to be moving the best...He also might find that the Hills is a higher standard that the comp which Sth. Clare plays in where he did kick bags and bags of goals.

heard along the grape-vine that Ironbank were struggling for numbers in the senior-colts with a maximum of 10 turning upto trainings so far. Looks like they might have to do a Torrens Valley and play half there 15's teams in the senior colts.

Re Lofty, every team has picked up, Lofty will struggle. Bring it up in five months time if I'm wrong! Which I won't be!

have heard that Mt Barker have been hot into the market looking for a full forward. Apparently they dont think having a chunky bloke with a bad attitude that just runs around the big blokes taking handballs to kick the easiest 100 goals in HFL history will cut it with the influx of players into div1 this year! Can you confirm this Lebron?

Think you will find the Bankers will be ok for numbers in 17's seeing they are paying kids to play now. A few from Blackwood have said they are coming for the money and I know some of the lofty lads are talking with their mates there as well. They have 3-4 Scotch kids committed as well this week. They can afford to play for nothing in their gold boots. Believe the club has also started a sperm donation club for IMVF so that in 2025 they have multiple kids ready to play. Saw the first one born the other day and he had a yellow body ,green head and white hair - had a yellow, green and white dummy in his mouth and he was breast feeding. His mum was wearing a green mouldy g-string. She was new to the area as I haven't seen her before. They also had some one hanging around primary schools making out he was a postman handing out what I thought where flyers with lollies stuck to them. That was in the blackwood area as well. D Philp ate all those and took them to his mates at Flaggy. Said something about better than coming second orplaying country div.

In a nutshell bankers should be ok.

I hear the HFL AGM was on tonight, anyone got any news about anything said there?

While on the topic, anyone have any idea why the AGM was Adjourned till tonight? A fixture would be out by now if the meeting was held in December like it should have been.

And the Bridgy situation. Apparantly they have requested to go to Country Div., and with Birdwood never wanting to leave Central, a straight swap is being proposed. Highly doubt this will eventuate.
We want Vaughn.
