Would much prefer to face them there then on the Centenary pitch at the present time!

Joel has to play at BFC for us to call him one of ours...
I reckon CMH played more than him last year...

Joel wont be going anywhere. Just needs to have a heart transplant.

Has the great Vincenzo been seen running around Lincoln. Chance for the pre-season draft?

any new news on recruits lads ? by the sounds of things everones chasing the same bunch of players ,all i hope is its a even comp in 09!!!,the idea of a pre season comp has been thrown around like they do in adelaide, they call it 20 20 were they pick teams from other leagues n play under lights 20 min halves, you prob heard of it . it pulls masive croweds and it might be what ravendale need to pull some coin in the off season ,maybe grab the 2 top sides from each league n put up some prize money for the winning club and maybe a sheild ,play it anualy.it could maybe called the bluey dunn shield (ha ha ),play it over a couple of weekends ? might take a bit to organise but i think it would be an awsome thing for pt lincoln footy and ravendale !! :)

not a bad idea considering the condition of ravendale is actually looking alright at the moment.
much better than the slop in winter..
probably need to put up a few marquees or temporary shades/seets on opposite side.
also prize money would have to be a definite as otherwise their would be no teams..

I reckon a pre=season comp would be gold! But you would really have to watch the length and structure of the games as not to affect the true season. ravendale would be the obvious venue yes. One team per club, you could possible make some rule about rotating players with reserve graders and juniors as to make it fairly even, but with some thoughtful planning it could work. But are enough people interested enough to give up their fri/sat night bbq and drinks or camping/surfing/fishing trips to take part in a competition that overall doesn't count for much. Could you/would you invite other leagues?

definately other leagues
would need prizemoney so teams would give up their time
and good watching facilities so a big audience rolls up..

read the article in the times MP..... ?? the bloke hit him after he said he didnt have a smoke. so you condone this sort of behaviour? I have totally missed judged you as a person if so. I thought you were a decent bloke.

A pre-season comp would be gold. no one would go and watch at ravendale though. what about the b graders, we need some sort of hit out.
