Id say

Any of these three could be in any order

Jervois
Ramblers
Imperials

Mypo have gained a few and are looking better than last year. beat the premier by 10 goal on there home deck
Mannum fast team and another possible team to look out for will be another tussle between them and mypo to make finals
Tailem Could be a team too lookout for with there recruits? Anyon got news on them
Meningee Have possibly lost their best player

Yeah it will probably be similar to last year, the top 3 positions more than likely held by same clubs. Imps appear to have picked up some quality players, but will they have the key forwards to take them to a flag? Jervois have great depth so will obviously be there, likewise Ramblers, although not much being discussed about the Roosters. Mypo and Mannum will be fighting for a top 3 berth, and Tailem, with some recruits, some quality, some unknown, will be looking at a top 5 position. Meningie a bit unknown as well, will be wanting to recruit a few soon so they can compete.

If i was going to GUESS i'd say:

Imps
Jervois
Ramblers
Mypo
Mannum
TB
Meningie.

How do finals work...?? Guessing top 4, 1 v 2 and 3 v 4, winner of first final through to GF loser plays the winner of 3v4 in a prelim. Correct..??

yeah that sounds right.

Even though theres 7 clubs, theres still a top 5 and as such the finals work under the conventional 5 team system ie 4 v 5 is elimination etc.

With 7 teams in the comp i believe it should be top 4.
10 sides or more top 5.
8 sides or less top 4.

You're right, it should be NM. I think its financial related, obviously they want as many finals as possible.

Commonsense is top 4 for 7 teams.

Posted on the Southern thread that Weidemann is staying at Cove and not going to Tailem, this will be a big disappointment for the Eagles now, a key forward was imperative for them to be competitive again. They may struggle now if they cant pick up a replacement recruit.

so he was obviously traning with them in order to get into the photo that made it into the standard the other week? he would want to be getting some decent coin to leave an up and commer like cove to go to tailem anyways. a huge loss for the eagles if it is correct.

has anyone read the standard yet to see the ins and outs of this weeks footy team, is it mypo this week?

I dont think they put them on the internet Hills, you may have to stop off somewhere on the way home from footy training to purchase the Standard ;)

If this guy has moved to Murray Bridge, presumably he'd be classed now as a local and not worth any points?? So if thats the case no doubt would be in great demand if he can play.
