A few surprises for me in there with the moves among the different SGL clubs in particular. Sollies appear to be recruiting a fair few early on, does anyone know anything about the 3 boys from Cove? South have added some top class to their list with the boys from the amateur league and also Horner from Broughton. The rumoured exodus from Centrals and West with the coaching changes are yet to appear but West have lost McKerlie to Solly and gained the services of Dean Steele from Lions and also Jamie Jackson from Centrals - what are big brother Peter's plans this season? I also notice Tyron George's clearance from Lions to Broughton has been denied, anyone know why?

posted on here a while ago, that millard won a mail medal with us, cummins kapinnie cougars in great flinders league. sgl is a step up but he is very quick, two sided player. hails from penong (tough breed up there!). jaryden stoezer has also signed. he played for lincoln south and eyre peninsula. is a chf, very big but needs to be fit to be any good. would be handy.

Just out of curiosity how would people rate this comp compared to SAAFL Divs? For example would be competetive against Div 3 sides.

i can only go on last season, the games i watched, all had central augusta in them. imho i reckon centrals could knock of most sides in d3 if not all (when there on). i reckon they would be competitive in d2, but they would suit d3 more.... but there is know way you can really say though... good standard of footy. In the reserves comp, there is a BIG gap between them and the A grade sides. which is normal for most country comps.
