Torrens Valley dont have any decent 17s coming up! last yr they had 3 players under 22 in their A grade, who would more than likely be there 3 worst players.

they win games because of their recruits and recruits alone dont have any homegrown young talent

Not happening lads. Staying at Reynella

Well I hope you've got him signed on paper then because the big cash is being waved at him by TV and I'm certain it will be double what he's getting at Reynella. Added to the fact Billings is now living out that way.

Pfffft Tom Billings what a dud, he's not worth paying petrol money to, think you'll find that a few Reynella players would be happy to see the back of him, if he had half the talent he thinks he has he might just get 1 kick a game.

No issues for the Reynella lads with TBEAR. Happy he's staying on for '11 season

Don't know what Tom Billings you have watched but he is a premiership ruckman.

I rucked against him this year and the bloke is a monster and knows how to hurt in the ruck(i still have a scar!!).

Not too many blokes like running at the guy in the centre circle and he gives his mids first use.

I'm guessing Ghost has never rucked before....

Massive signing for the Dees if this is true!!

Definitely true! Woudn't say massive signing tho, he's a very good player but not a gun! Also have heard that none of the town boys are returning to bridgewater, if this is true, that would make it about 14 or so that wont be back at bridgie next year!
V-man, is it also true that youu have ties to lofty? Hope not!

hi is
it has taken me 24 long soul searching hours to regain the composure to reply to this post.
will start by saying i hold absolutely no ties with the scum on the wrong side of aldgate... the only link i have with mount lofty is that my son was conceived after a wild night with my wife in the car park of the mount lofty summit.
speaking of my son the courageous little bugger cried himself to sleep last night after hearing news of the departure of beverlander and the mighty bridgewater 14 (thats what they will be forever know as in my heart)... he took a day off work today on compasitionate leave. have been texting him from the boardroom every hour on the hour to make sure he is ok.
have full confidence in optimus to get the warriors on the park that we need to be competitive in 2011.

V, It's going to be very hard to recruit players to bridgie again this year! If the amount of players ,that have said they're leaving, do. How are they going to be anywhere near competetive next season? Optimus may need to recruit the Autobots aswell as the Power rangers, Voltron and the Ninja Turtles! :D Hopefully it isn't that bad tho, at least for the supporters sake!

From the games that I saw last year, Torrens Valley has 3 good under 17.5's that could possibly play a-grade. The best of the 3 is Kyle Sansbury and Ben Birtles was ok.

but they will stuggle because they dont really play with any sort of game plan.

Vaughan - the Fortress is crumbling. First Charles goes, then Beverlander and you've hired a coach with not many credentials. Wasn't he an assistant coach at a div 6 club last year? Perhaps you should be getting ready for Country Division in 2012!!!

mistake number 1 is assuming that anything you read on this forum is correct.

wait until pre-season starts and see how many bridgy players have departed. i think you may be dissapointed to see that most of them are returning. of those that wont be returning, the majority were going to sent packing anyway.

as for the coach, has been in the sanfl system as a player and assistant coach (norwood). certainly made a good impression with the players on sunday.

So your saying J.Beav hasn't signed at Echunga? He was there on sunday but only to have a "donnybrook"!

Good to hear the coach made a descent impression, tho you didn't answer the ? of him being a Div 6
a/c last year! Was he?

Can anyone shed any light on Matt Brunoli ? Told he played for Norwood.

Heard his name mentioned in relation to Onkas on the weekend.

Who would that be?

From what i'm told the following wont be back, Eckermann, Mclean, Barlow, Jonson, Cotsaris, Talbot, Longman, Alphabet? (Think his called Mitch), Eagleton. On top of that Lancaster not playing at all and Flinn, Fortalewis, Gain and Beav playing elsewhere. thats pretty close to 14! I seriously hope they don't all go but we may strugle big time if they do!

My information is the new Bridgy coach was an assistant at Kenilworth last year.

Can all you devoted Bridgy boys remember your claims for greatness in 2011 because when it doesn't happen everyone will remind you!
