Heard today that bridgewater's favourite son Beverlander signed up with Echunga on Friday. Apparently wants to play in a winning team.

Ex Ironbank coach Dennis Russell is rumoured to be the new coach of Echunga. Looks like Ironbank won't secure the services of Shane Russell if this is true.

I read in a paper today that Jake Bowen has retired from Sturt. is there a possibility that he could head back to Blackwood?

I think they might have hit a hurdle with Gunning offer. Wouldn't want to be in a bidding war with TV. I think you'll find there is quite a few clubs after him.

Definitely true! Woudn't say massive signing tho, he's a very good player but not a gun! Also have heard that none of the town boys are returning to bridgewater, if this is true, that would make it about 14 or so that wont be back at bridgie next year!
V-man, is it also true that youu have ties to lofty? Hope not!

dosent help either that IF he went too Pt Districts he'd play against his brother. and you wouldn't think that would be high on his to do list as they are pretty close.
hopefully PAC can find some cash from somewhere and we can nab him!

He definately wont be at TV next year regardless of any money. His best mates from the club have left. You will find he will be at Pt Districts next year. Dont shoot the messenger :D

Shame to see J Beverlander go, has been a great player year in year out in a under peforming team. Would love to see one of the Smith boys step up and take his spot in the midfield.

Well I hope you've got him signed on paper then because the big cash is being waved at him by TV and I'm certain it will be double what he's getting at Reynella. Added to the fact Billings is now living out that way.

is there any word on whether Alex Kennedy from Tanunda is moving to Torrens Valley.

After playing/watching many Central and Country games over the years, personaly I think the Lions will stuggle in the Central Division. But they do have a couple of good under 17's that will make there way up in the A-Grade. I also think there juniors will also struggle too because they dont really play with any game plan.

Pfffft Tom Billings what a dud, he's not worth paying petrol money to, think you'll find that a few Reynella players would be happy to see the back of him, if he had half the talent he thinks he has he might just get 1 kick a game.
