To be fair BTB from what I have heard that without Parker and Brooks the Rangers were always going to struggle. In the end however I thought we deserved the win and it would have been stolen from us if we lost. I thought the standard of game though was disappointing. Looking forward to the game next week and think we are a real chance. Also look forward to the B's - great game by Rangers and word is they are fired up already for next week.

Unfortunately missed the game as I was watching no. 1 son play in his GF down the south east.
All reports are that it was at least exciting. Pity about the loss tho and will just have to hope for a better season next year.
Well done to the MR B's and they should be fired up enough to make their GF worth watching.

my advice would be to get under the skin, dont be weak like a fortnight ago. target the ones who lose the plot. as we saw in the reserves on saturday this works. look for matchups up forward and when you have the right one isolate them up forward in the 50. tag jeremy jackamara and harry miller with one of his young runners. hope for bad weather.

Thanks RR but wont taking any advice from you or your troll mates.

Looking forward to posting again on Monday morning to rub yours and everyone else nose in it after we beat MP on the weekend. You can quote that OL.

Lets not get too cocky. This is one thing I reckon we need to pull our heads in......... The real rossco you have now set us up to have to win. If we dont we are going to look like fools after that last comment. Stay off the site you are the coach. Dont ever see any other wank on here from coaches.

Can absolutely confirm that this is NOT Rossco, but another troll who has entered the fray. Roscco no longer has access to the site during work hours, and for his own mental state no longer reads it.

The official line is that "we as a club are very proud of our playing group, and pleased to be able to qualify for the clubs 5th grand final appearance in six years. We are fully aware of the task that we face, and have the utmost respect for Mallee Park who have been the benchmark all year. We look forward to the challenge that Saturday presents our young playing list as we strive for our 32nd league flag. Congratulation to our Captain Matt Goodwin who plays his 100th senior game in this weeks Grand Final"
Thats all folks...till Monday.

Got to say BTB like your stuff. This behaviour of imitation is could get someone into serious trouble. Following your post BTB I received a text from a Ranger boy as follows

MR A grade - in last 12 years have played 8 grand finals and won 6
MR B grade - in last 14 years have played in 11 and won 7

Would have to agree BTB that MR are the team of this decade however we could change that around. Remeber BTB no one remembers who comes second so in my mind it is how many wins on the board not how many you have played in.

This will be our third for the decade with many more to come.

You cant count 2003 as the salary cap was infringed wasn't it? thats probably why you are in the poor financial position you are now!

I still think Bluey Dunn along with MP and CMH would make the ideal coaching setup at BFC  ,

In all seriousness though, from what i've seen of Martin Leslie as a coach(disregarding umpiring issues) he is up there with the best coaches on the peninsula and if given respect from players he can have huge input into a club. You only need to look at Yeelana for that, an ordinary side on paper to playing great exciting footy challenging the top teams. Not sure what response he got with the Bostons players but if they were as keen as the young boys from UYFC, i think they could have been better than their season showed. Whats his movements anyhow?
