Marble Range and Waybacks had a chance to make a stand against the MPFC issue last night and they chose not to do anything about it. I hope we all remember that in the future. And Marble Range have the gaul to say they want to join the GFFL because of the MPFC yet when it comes time to make a stand they crawl back in thier cave.

It surprises me that Tiger08, Tiger07andbeyond, WCP, or Boston Prodigy haven't mentioned this- and I'm surprised it's taken me so long...

I've been at Bostons for over nine years now, and, barring MPFC, we have had the largest number of indigenous persons playing at our club.

Lefty Miller, Eddie Saunders, Marcus Pickett, Rob Hancock, Mallee Miller, Jeremy Jack, to name a few, and certainly a reasonable number going through the under 13's and 15's.

Many names before my time, the 80's and 90's, could be added.

Since Bostons have raised this issue, and taken a very public stance on it, MPFC have thrown out the race card, but the above info is often forgotten.

From what I hear Marble Range and Waybacks should be congratulated for upholding the constitution of the PLFL. These are the laws that all clubs are supposed to abide by when they become affiliated. If Clubs are not prepared to comply with these rules there is no league, nor any form or organisation.

Then why, if that is the case, are MPFC still in the PLFL?

 Nothing against paechy, but he does not deserve to be mentioned with this lot. Excellent ball player and quality footballer who never 'whacked' anyone in his life. Copped plent though...79 GF??
As for any penalties handed out, the BFC need to be prepared to cop whatever they get. I have great respect for DF, but in this case it was very poor judgement. Many brave men with noble ideas have ended up with $h!t on their face and this is one of those times.
As for the vote, history tells you that the WFC have always backed the PLFL and this was going to be no exception.
MP you may think that you can change the world via this forum, but believe me it holds no cred. The MPFC issue has been a thorn in the PLFL side for 27 years, but it will not be fixed by a small few wanting to kick them out.
One thing about the MPFC, for a club that seems to have no concept of rules, they are quick to use them to their advantage when the need arises. Enforcement of rules are the only way to beat them. Tighten the rules, bring in set penalties, independent tribunal, line in the sand / no exceptions....use your brains!!

Blues; I have never rated someone I have never met, as highly as I rate yourself, because of what others have said about you, but I do not think my posts on this forum will change a thing.

Having said that, enforcement of the rules means nothing. I, myself, enforced the rules, only to have successive PLFL Presidents silence me, and side with the MPFC.

There is absolutely no consideration for the rules when MPFC go about their shambolic saturday rituals, and they only search through the rulebook when a club does something they don't rate.

To change the MPFC problem, you need to start at the top, which is the PLFL executive heads.

And as we know, when there's no justification for what they've done, no rule or reason they can bend, they will pull out the race card, and hold the PLFL to ransom (which many posters do not believe they do), and threaten to take the issue "higher up" if they are not bowed down to.

Good point Dermie...

Bostons should write the cheque directly to PLFL...

I don't think it'd cover everthing tho...

Of course Dermie, got a 'get out of jail free card' there...

Technically though, MPFC AND LSFC didn't pay their affiliation fee by the AGM, so they technically could have both been knicked off...

MP enforcement of the rules is the entire problem here. There is none, and the BFC flaunting the rules to make a point achieves nothing either.
The PLFL need to look no further than the FWFL to find the solution. The blueprint is there, just need to swallow some pride and adopt it.
Cant blame the current executive..this issue has transcended the current board. They are only conducting from previously flawed song sheets.
If you sense a lack of tolerance in my posts, it is because we have been here before...many times. The current system is flawed and has been exploited by all clubs for too long.
A new broom is needed, and change is hopefully coming.

Any news on the verdict marble park or coyote?

Rumours are that it will be adjourned so the BFC can get legal representation
