Mallee Park obviously suffered from to big a vote spread to provide the winner.

The top 4 are all quality ball getters who definately fit the fairest and best category.

Congrats to Steve Hammond on the under 21 trophy (tied with D Wang). Also got 11 votes in the MM...handy effort

Kelshy is a student of climate control and global warming so I would suggest that the weather would have been the subject of any chats he had with the umps rr

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

check out the voting for 2008

http://lincolnfooty.com.au/voting/PLFL-Votes2008.htm

There are some rounds in Under 21, Best Team Man & Earl Family Medal that only have 12 votes due to umpires votes not counted

I know there are anomalies in every B&F medal count and last night was no exception.
Round 14 Waybacks V Tasmans. Ross Campbell polls 2 votes in Mail Medal but does not poll a vote in the Best U'21. He loses Best U'21 by 2 votes. Can't see the umpires stuffing that one up as they do the votes for both awards. Perhaps Tasman's team manager has cost poor Ross a trophy. Might be wrong but that's my guess. May have happened in other games too but that one was noticed

Parker was lucky to get any votes in the last round according to Proudy. He got the 3

Steakn if Andrew Jericho got 14 votes and Luke Jericho 5 then I think this Jericho person could be a bit unlucky not to have won. Did the umpires go by Blueys write-up?
Wonder if they mixed up Hywood and Vonow aswell?

Yeah skip i'm not sure whether old bluey is trying to make the story more interesting or what, but Luke only got one vote, so really Andrew should have been on 15. Don't know where Blueys 5 came from
