I really hope that post was a joke. If not, it was the silliest post ever on this site. Guys from the RMFL say it's about div 4, and maybe the top sides bottom of div 3.

That is one outrageous comment. I know Jezza Rigney and he even admits (6 months ago) Jervois would struggle to make the SFL top 6 let alone SAAFL div 1.

Sorry Mex, got nothing for YOU...but glad to hear you are following with interest.

Whats happening with Mannum? Do you still have a link there?

And Jervois not that much ahead of the pack boys, only just got over the line in the last two GF's.

Id say the bluds would make the top 6 in SFL.

Bluds would beat Porties, flaggies and possibly brighton and reynella.

Thats what i think.

mypolonga played gary macintosh's team in a trial 2 years ago and just went down, dunno what div they are in though. would expect that mypo would have had a handful out being that cricket season only finishes the week before footy starts up these days

Topcat I certainly did play div 4 and had great fun I must add. Your ridiculous comments about the standard of the league are about as accurate as your account on my time in teh RMFL ya dim wit.
Please tell me knuckle head if the GSFL is on par with Div2/3 and they spank the RMFL horrendously every year (barring the year I played for the RMFL) how does this equate to the RMFL being Div 1?

I didnt know there was internet coverage in your paddock!

The fact that I didn't make the most ridiculous comment ever. A mid range div 1 side would beat jervois by 30 goals. No country league is close to div 1, everyone knows that. Everyone also knows that the RMFL ain't the strongest league going around.

In a Mypo v Payneham trial in 2007, Payneham won by 8 goals at Mypo (not exact but it was comfortable win) Paynehams first year of Div2 after GF win previous year.

Fair indication of standard albeit a trial.

"Another article in the paper discussed the Karoonda situation, and the possibility of a merger down the track some time, either with Peake or Tailem."

Heard that Karoonda have made contact with Tailem- want to join- stay RMFL and play a few games at Karoonda??

Definatly would be an interesting match. we played Tailem Bend in their premiership year in 2002/03 I think and it's only a trial and both teams had players missing (All imports played for Tailem though, but were missing locals) but we did not go down by much............

They finished 5 or 6 that year they won 2000 andRU in 05 Where jervois smashed them by 23 goals

Maybe not 30.thats alot and Jervois still do have class in their midfield in Ewer,Rigney and ect.....It would be a fair margin but 30 goals is heaps

What standard would you say the RMFL is NM? When Kilburn was in div 1 apparently we used to beat Barossa teams by that much. They are much better than the RMFL teams.
