I think you'll find thats what it is in most other leagues! The reasoning, if i can remember, is to bring it in line with TAC Cup.

Jailbird so you are calling the president of a club a liar when he says that $1400 a game is what one of your so called let downs on the weekend needed to change. If you weren't so arrogant we might believe you. Kalma is a wonderful thing. Hopefully you will reward your most valuable player in Noonan over time. He was right up there again on saturday. People laugh at the arrogance of the Roos particularly when results fall the way they did on saturday. Learn to respect others and then thier perception of your smug arrogant club may change. Don't you love hills footy !!!

What in the hell is Kalma Has Been?

It's the second time i've seen you use this term in your posts over the last couple of weeks. I think you mean Karma!! It just proves to us all how uneducated you and your ridiculous posts have been over the last 12months. I think you need to rack off to the northern suburbs where they speak your language! Idiot is the native tongue up there.

Generalizing as you have can get you into trouble pal, leave the people that live north of the city out of the argument or the "karma bus" might pull up at your gate too!

Well perhaps i should've refered to Has Been as a Collingwood or Centrals supporter. Or even a Victorian! Either way my point was made. His comments are unwelcomed uneducated rubbish.

It appears Beerenberg or someone in that area has found a big tree loaded with $$$$$'s. Most Ex league blokes are not worth as much as is being offered up there.

Cmon boys lighten up... I wanna know who's coaching Bridgewater, does anyone know? V-man do you have any comment here? Have Lofty definately kept Coleman? I hear there's quite a few boys that won't be happy if he stays on.
Will also be interesting to see how clubs go recruiting with the new points system in place. Gone are the days of picking up 6 or 7 quality players (this would amount to near 20+ points).

Rumour has it that Bridgy are working hard on a coach that has had AFL playing experiance and is moving into the area. Can only think of one possibility, but not all good player make good coaches no matter how high a level they've played.

The ability to recruit does increase though with a big name coach!

Anyways heard on the grapevine a certain hills central club maybe getting a few from down the Coro hill. Have been approaching the club it seems. I knowof 1 club that has signed 2 guns and that is it for them, have retained the majority of last years and look set for a good year. Have 3-4 locals returning as well that will slot straight in and at minimal cost. Just want to see success. Just have to find a coach I believe.

Has Been- rasist or rasicsm refers to slander or prejudice based on the ethnicity of an individual or group and Silky's comment didn't get anywhere near that criteria, if it did i am sure the mods would be right on it. Run my comment past someone at the RSL and have them interpret it for you so you can understand it.

Secondly, your big scoop is so cryptic it is pointless. Why not just state some names so we can have something interesting to read.

I have no idea where that is but I can only assume is either Bridgy or Loby. Probably Loby if you are refering to locals returning.

hi ss
first things first still awaiting the appointment of our new A Grade mentor for 2011 and am on the edge of my damn seat!!!
have seen both of these mentioned boys a few times when they have taken on my beloved south.
still remember shayne mcdonald in the early 90s streaming down the heysen wing at THE FORTRESS with the wind in his hair... pure poetry in motion.
hopefully our retetion of recruits is going well, as the new points system is harder to decipher than the davinci code!!!
RAIDERS till I DIE!!!

So is there talk of it being changed too that, i think clubs should get onto the hfl about this, seeings as the sanfl has changed theres to 18's and 16's rather than 19's and 17's, and we've made every grade even except 17.5 i don't see the sense in it
