The tasman lads have heard that waybacks are going to stack the b grade and make sure they get through to finals. Bad luck CMH, MP and T07 8)

maybe bostons should stack as well

I will post on BTB's behalf
"We were beaten by a very committed Tasman team on the day whom I believe are one of the best outfits in the competition. Our players played like s**t and the fact that we had several top class players unavailable is not an excuse. As you know I have a soft spot for the roosters and I wish them all the best for the finals. I think they will do well"
Been out of action most of the week, so this is first time I have had a look here. Actually very impressed with Roosters. That was the best side they have put on the park against us this year, smashed us at clearances and had a fair few forward options. They were playing for their season, and were very desperate. Matt James and Vonow were the prime movers.
Looking forward to getting away from Ravendale this week. 3 weeks in a row on a soft track coupled with wind and rain at a place that handles neither.....over it...

Christ it's dead on here...

Apparently Waybacks B Grade are going to struggle this weekend. That gives Bostons half a chance to play finals footy. How lon'g that been for the B's?

And Bluey Dunn calling the Rangers Gladiators...

We played well in the magoos and deserve to be playing finals football. However we were dudded when waybacks stacked their side in the other match which was bordering on cheating. At least everyone at Bostons can sleep at night.

I dont think I will post much any more so its ALOHA from me til next season 8)

Things have certaintly stalled on here perhaps its time to reminiss,we could nearly run our own "where are they now segment". One of my favourite ex posters was THE axeman,he gave a insight into racing that many others couldnt.i believe he is now in Brisbane riding stable work and following a promising female jockey around.

some other suggestions could be Longreach- OL may enlighten us.What bout Just Quietly slipped away very quietly. I am sure the jobomi house boys will come up with a few..

anyone confirm that Rory Hunt and Joe CS played in waybacks b grade on the weekend?

Our reserves really shot ourselves in the foot by losing close games and to rely on another team to lose that also was fighting to get into the finals should never have happened.

I also heard that our A grade only had to win by another 3 goals to get into the finals? CU any suggestions on this?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

To the Boston posters - Waybacks did not stack their B's and did not play Hunt, JCS, Tom George and Blight in that grade. Their complement was the usual crew. Their win was brought about by having a fair bit to play for, playing well and it would also be fair to say that some of our prime movers in this grade had to play A's (Tregonning, Caulfield etc) to cover injuries to regular A graders. (which may answer MP's post about Rangers dissipating.)

Tiger07 - digest that and perhaps you can post one more time and correct your last statement

To the good guy Boston posters - bad luck & you must be feeling like s**t after promising so much. Bounce back next year as the comp needs you to. You darn near did in 2008
