Gastev you really have no idea what is going on at your 'supposed' own club.
MeGregor was on a 1k package at kilburn so you think he's going to drive and hour and a half down the road on his weekends off work for less than that? You're a cadet aand the blum news happened weeks ago along with prest and soon to be two more locals.
By the way, nick williams has also pulled the pin on playing at the bay.
When the bays learn to develop and respect their local talent they will improve, until then they will make up the numbers.

Nathan Riley: Another Morphett Vale premiship player lobbing on the door at
Mclaren, with his hand out.
Maybe Mclaren and Myponga Should play for the "Emu cup.''
EMUS? the rock stars of the outback.

Interesting this debate, I have heard a couple of stories and also read a few on here that make me laugh, I can gaurantee however that McGregor is on no where near what people are saying on here, it acctually shocked me to see what he is really getting as it is minimal and is more of a favour to an employer. In regards to your comments footysmart, you seem to think you know a bit about the club and its actions, I do wonder if you are a washed up coach who noone wants back or maybe an x commitee member who caused more trouble than they were worth and got asked to leave. Maybe instead of dragging the club down and talking S%$t you should listen to a few people around you.

I hear the Bays had enough to try and get Matty Pavlich across but opted to get McGregor instead.

Ahhh you read me very wrong b10, unfortunately my mail comes from the horses mouth and if I were to be disgrutneld it would be because he left Henley if anything chap. SO to me, your 'gaurantee' carry's no weight and to be honest Im entitled to post openly so like or lump it sunny boy. But thanks for some more juice on your club, sounds like your house is not in order perhaps...? Actually dont reply to that, Im not sincerely bothered. I didn't bag your unit I added an opinion and excuse me for promoting the fact that you should concentrate on locals and youngsters - I should be shot hahaha

ANWAY lads:
Next topic....? Wow Pongy sounding like an experienced line up this year? will yank improve, level out or fall back?
Reading posts and looking at the country footy website (Im on holidays) this week it could be another strong year?

Like most people on this forum i've had enough of this debate on Mcgregor. But first my 2 cents worth, if EB are spending anything over 1k then that's just amusing if it's at the lower end then good get.

How are preseason numbers going at other clubs. So far Victor hasn't dipped under 40 players and the enthusiasm is brilliant. Granted there are a few young blokes out having a run early but the more the merrier.

What about trial games? Victor has Tanunda then Reynella. Two tough games against last years premiers should set up the year well.

Kenny is a great pick up for the bays, even if hes getting 1k a game. Plenty of players asking or getting that coin but have done half of what hes done. Harvey and kenny will be tough to stop.
