Nah it was Mt Barker, and the Roos won comfortably.

Ironbank played Uri in the first week of finals.

yeh thats sad for the blokes who have played all year, the blackwood comittee would be very embarrassed youd imagine. dont think it really matters though lofty should win comfortably especially with players like sam broadbridge playing B's he would be a stand out A grader for most other clubs be interesting to see after his performance on saturday whether or not he lines up for B's or A's in the big one!

i believe he will not make it back into the a grade and will play in a b grade premiership which is unbelievable. i believe he was playing port reserves at start of season but came back to lofty. either way he is a quality player and i wonder why he was dropped in 1st place. i thought he was in good form!

In theory who cares that thes blokes played from the Country comp. That comp is disgraceful. I watched Blackwood and Uraidla and it wasn't like there was any guns running around. In theory Uraidla had a couple of blokes that had played Central A grade earlier in the year.

Poor form for Blackwood for not playing by the rules and poor form by Uraidla for whinging to the league.

I can understand that Uri's were annoyed about losing, I would be too!

Whinging is the number one lesson taught at the Cabbage Patch. Scott Sutherland is Queen whinger! He's been doing it for years!

There was a lot of talk about Brad Smith playing B's. Who cares! He's crap and he's a bloodnut. By all reports and from what I watched, he did nothing anyway!

yeh theres no doubt he is a fantastic player and a great bloke, he would be very dissappointed if he misses out on playing in an a grade grand final especially since he has been one of the reasons they have made it there in the first place

Couldn't have happened to a nicer club. Serves them right for playing Smith & Co.
The sooner they go to the Southern League or Amateurs the better.

An ankle injury to someone may be Sammy's ticket back in. A very tough squad to break in to though.

Rapper you missed the C at the start of your name. Having played both comps i can tell you dollar for dollar country footy is right up there. The bottom 6-8 fall away significantly but the top five sides would easily have 6-8 players who would play central. If its poor form for Blackwood to play these guys then Uraidla have every right to complain to the league.
If at first you don't succeed, you're running about average

Dr Football. Do you really believe the crap that you just said? "can tell you dollar for dollar country footy is right up there". The Country football league is a terrible standard. Oh my god. Have you watched a Central league game this year. Im glad Birdwood have come up cause the likes of Lofty Uraidla and Onkas are sick of belting Ironbank and Bridgey. We need a new bunny in the comp. Im looking forward to next year already.

I reckon! I think mehta set a hopping world record the way he sped off. Saw the ankle in some modern weird pressure pack thing after the game, and I assume he was headed to hospital. A very disconsulate-looking bloke at the time. Never know though, 2 weeks is a long time in footy.
If not, Broadbridge or Mike Stapleton will fill the gap.

Yeh ud think it would have to be a pretty major injury to keep a bloke out of playing a grandy
