I only saw him play 3 times too. Obviously his goal kicking ability is excellent as the stats show. He only had one really good day on the scoreboard against the other top 5 sides when he kicked 8 (out of 23) against us (VH) in the first round. The other 2 times Tarquin Brown stood him and he only kicked 1 on both occasions.

Breakdown the stats:

Kicked 100 in 20 games: 5.0 goals per game.
Against the bottom 5:
Goolwa 7,11
Compass 9,4
Bays 5,8
Mclaren 3,7
Pongy 1,9

64 goals at 6.4 per game

Against the top 5:
Victor 8,1,1
Willunga 4,4,2
Strath 4,3
Creek 4,5

36 goals at 3.6 per game

So yes he is a good full forward, but he got plenty of supply from a very good side against some ordinary competition in there too though. I find it hard to classify a full-forward as a game-breaker.

Supposed to be on $1,400 per game at Blackwood this year, on last years goals that would be $280. per goal, not bad.

Yeah but you follow Johny's 2011 predictions and the Bays are going to go undefeated with the other clubs to chase the finals spots

dont think that at all. the bays will win more then last season but so they should . the bays arent going to go from bottom to top straight away its gunna take time even years, just going on what i heard about goolwa i hope they prove me wrong because its about time the battling teams like these 2 get back up the ladder again

Massive loss for Victor if true, especially Hodge.

Good on him for staying.
I've heard good things from Goolwa.
Not premiership talk of course but i'm sure there will be positive steps forward.

Goolwa could get a lot better if the Mckinleys, Griffens, Jureck, Vick etc all wanted to play at there local club. Why they aren't, only LF knows.

On that.... Heard Ken Campbell has pulled the pin at South. Is he returning to Goolwa?

It is good to see the likes of Wilson and ewer stay around. It's something they both said they would do providing that the recruiting committee worked hard to improve the squad. Of the boys you mentioned wow, most will be at goolwa this year as well as the likes of kilsby and conigrave who return. Vick despite the year in year out rumours will be at cove and one of the others mentioned will be at victor for what o suggest would be superior money (and the fact they may have initially considered him as 0 points) Campbell has left south and has moved to pt Lincoln where he will play at tasmans with 2 former goolwa boys. For any other goolwa info the creek boys can fill you in after round 1
