Mt Barker 13's
Hahndorf 15's
Blackwood 17's
Mt Lofty B Grade

There was a rediculously strong wind to the bottom end of Blackwood oval, where most of the game was played.

Mt. Barker kicked the only goal for the whole game at the top end in the first minute from a soft free kick in the middle to Nunan. In my opinion the game was won when Uraidla failed to kick a goal with the wind in the 3rd quarter, Mt Barker did well to keep them to 2 points. Nunan then stood tall for about 5 minutes in the last quater and kicked the final goal to seal it.

I have never seen so many skill errors when kicking the ball, the wind must have been terible to play in. It was even difficult to kick goals with the wind. The Mt Barker full back couldn't hit a target all day and I saw Loffler wind up to clear it from the bottom end for the ball to only go 10 metres square out of bounds. At one stage I reckon I saw one Barker player and one uraidla player kick it to each other about 3 times in a row over the distance of over 20 metres max.

Full credit to the Uraidla ground staff, the oval is in fantastic condition for finals football today. Should be a good one!

DA,
Something has been going on between Blackwood and Gordon for about
4 years. I reckon he must have said something to Salievic back when he was playing in the back pocket and it has gone on since then. All good fun in the muddy hills.

Did i see some grey creeping into your hair yesterday ? Was it there before the game or develope throughout that cracking last qtr ?

Very ordinary & pissweak display from the Blackwood thug who collected Ben Gordon with a roundhouse hit after the ball had gone in the last quarter yesterday and caused the big Devil to leave the ground on a stretcher. It's crap like this that ruins out game.

Nobody sooking here mate, just passing comment on an incident which I thought was pretty ordinary!

Should be some cracking games this weekend especially the A's where Uraidla & Mt Lofty have a strong recent finals history. Uraidla would go in favourites and rightly so but the Devils are a tight unit & anything can happen in finals.

B Grade should be a cracker too, my money is on the boys from the Cabbage Patch to put the Roos out in straight sets!
