Haha Baylis wouldnt carry Baxters footy bag?

Bayliss will dominate the ruck in RMFL, and secondly with guys with the skills of Ewer and Rigney runnin around im sure they will be more than happy to run around the back of Bayliss and pick up some kicks!

Geez someone is a bit touchy about their lack of punctuation!
I don't know who your source is TC but Baylis is a very good kick of the football....for a basketballer!
Mahoney actually likes his stray kicks, it keeps the fitness up of the other players who have to chase them!!!
Plus kicking is very overated in football!!!

Playing his cards very close to his chest is a smart thing.
As we can see theirs alot of interest in the recruiting by Mahoney & whats going on down blood land.
I'd say theirs alot "hoping" Jervois lose more than they pick up & take a slide.
Maybe inside 2weeks a couple of named recruits may get leaked intensionally to you all.
I would love to leak a certain player right now, but whats a couple of weeks??

I wouldn't have thought they'd need to recruit too many new players, maybe a key forward, especially if Woodhouse doesn't play there this year.

I reckon they need a key fwd!! :D

Hmmm. Not playing your cards close to your chest NM. Kicked out of Henley, then involved at Seaton and now at Jervois. What are you doing there, just helping out? Shouldn't be too hard to figure out who you are.

The Standard has commenced their weekly look at each club. I had a look at their article on Tailem, Dalwood expects about 5 or 6 wins but not enough to make finals. Didn't mention much about recruits, but did mention Weidemann from Cove and also Josh Herbert who i think played Hills div 2 last year, and originally from Marion i think.

Another article in the paper discussed the Karoonda situation, and the possibility of a merger down the track some time, either with Peake or Tailem.

has wiedemann played zone footy or is it a relation of his??
it didnt mention too much about his credentials in the article? it sounds as though tailem will take a few more years yet to be the power house they once were though.

will be interesting to read the standard again over the next few weeks to see whats really happening around the place. as apposed to all the gossip on the internet.....

No link Hills, just in the actual newspaper. The Standard is doing a story on each club for the next 6 weeks, this week will be Meningie as they finished 2nd last in 2007.

As for Weidemann, i think he is highly rated and probably did play zone, there was a bit of chat on the Southern forum on here that he was probably off to Tailem Bend, and some talk that he may even try out for South Adelaide again, this year.

As you said floataboy TB wont be up where they were 7 or 8 years ago, but will be more competitive. For them its obviously a case of rebuilding the club after significant player losses the last few years.

On the GSFL site, someone said that the Victor coach was seen catching up with Joe for a beer. Let's just hope they were just doing that and he wasn't trying to snare Joe's signature!
