we beat souths by 3 - 4 goals. Worst conditions for years. Oval shocking. We kicked first 5 goals and ended up winning 6 goal to 3. The timekeepers blew the siren early.
Brett BOG at CHB.

CMH the b grade was crap. FF made you look stupid. did i see you at full back?

I heard Tasmans beat MP can anyone confirm?

It was a happy Wangary crowd that witnessed the win over Waybacks and which set the tone for the celebrations that night.
Another low scoring affair with the conditions not suiting the skillful mosquito fleet of Waybacks. Instead it called for a tough uncompromising approach and I reckon our lads delivered that in bucket loads.
Extremely impressed with Rory Hunt's game and he was one of few constant thorns in our side.
Coach was very happy with the form and leadership of Roger Boxer and his presence (a bit earlier than I expected) really adds to the calmness of our side. Also the return of Damon Scott to the A's was another step in the right direction for him and he will also add some grunt to the defence with a couple more games under his belt.
Huge game by Darren Francis in defence and that seems to be his spot. Although probably beaten in ruck, it was a lionhearted effort by Tyler Dennis who rucked all game and young Sambo was good again. Chooker did a job on Kane Williams but only his first game.
Will look forward to some decent weather at least for Saturday afternoons.

"B" grade was a strong win and they are looking good. Although they won't like to hear this I thought Waybacks lacked a bit in the physical stuff in this grade as did a lot of people I spoke to.
What pills did LH take before the game. Tell him he's too young for that sort of s**t.

FF had no impact on the game but he did have the last laugh. Very disappointing to lose on sat when we prob had most of the play. AG king of the 50 m penalty, he gave a few away and didnt notice one of them as he got up and stood the mark the kick was already 50m away

Yes Tiger that was me at full back

No seriously and as far as I'm concerned he is one of the leading lights in Port Lincoln footy proving age is no barrier. Carved us up the previous week and obviously did the job again Satdy. Remember his game for Rangers in the 2nd semi when he was simply unstoppable. Great bloke and a huge asset to the BFC

Got part 1 right. How did I go with part 2. or was it too cold and he didn't want to embarrass himself

Well done to the EU boys but it's a pity they had to play in the Eastern Eyre League to notch that win tho. When I saw that in the Sunday Mail I knew it would be the same in Monday's Tiser, however for the local TV station to report the same in last night's sports results ???. Not a lot of editing goes on in the press does there.

Used to kick their a**e back in the early 70's. Had a couple good battles with a long haired shoe boy by the name of Cox back then. He could seriously play and went on to play with South's league side. Remember outrunning the cops one night in a mate's Mustang after a game at your oval on the way back to Christies
