Well i was not far off. Marston and Fisher were amazing. Blackwood not by as much as i'd thought. And hahndorf winners, what happened there? Did Ironbank have all their players or what? Any thoughts now about 5th place?

Hahndorf finally had a full side. If Dan Jenner could kick for goal they would have won by more. I think he kicked 4.8 plus 5 out on the full. Had the ball on a string but unfortunately the radar was off. His gaydar probably was interfering with it.

Blackwood 11.10 d Ironbank 9.13 (9 point win to B'wood not 100% sure of score)
Lofty d Onkas according to earlier post no scores on Hills website

Another sleepless night for the big V, he must be getting close to cashing in his chips at Bridgy I reckon, he wouldn't like carrying the "loser tag" with his success in the business world! ;)

Has anyone seen or heard from V? Another Saturday has come and gone with another Bridgy loss, he'd be looking forward to the end of season review I reckon.

The Sunday Mail must get 3 quarter time scores. Their Lofty scores were way off.
Marston, 19. **** n hell. That is ridiculous. Lobey wouldn't have kicked 19 as a team in their last 3 games...
The Lofty hahndorf game looks to be a cracker and it seems that ironbank may have let 5th spot slip...

The bloke who kicked 40 was Quinton Graham, played league football for Centrals. A league player against Callington what do you expect ?

4.4 our stats suggest. Some equally bad goal kicking at the other end so I think it was the attack and ball use around the ground that had more to do with it.

Yeah sounds about right, I exaggerated for effect and a bit of a laugh. Hahndorf's pressure was the best it has been all year. Over 80 effective tackles. I think this Ironbank side probably would prefer a bigger oval than it's home ground as well, as they are quite small and fast on the flanks and through the midfield.

Marston 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must have improved out of site. Played at Flaggies (SFL) a couple of years ago. Struggled to get out of his own way, couldn't jump and was slower than our point post. Got to say congratulations ....... always great to see someone come good.

Surely it's a different marston.
Lethal is an absolute star and has been since u/14's.
I played with him for about 5 years and wish he was still at the devils.
Great bloke better footballer.

Has played at Mt Barker for at least the last 3 years, but I am think he has been there even longer than that. Probably a different bloke.

After looking at some recent scores it doesn't look like bridgy are too far off the mark against some of the top team, it seems to be an improvement on previous years, why wouldn't they stick with their coach for another year? Maybe some of the blokes he brought would stick around and maybe gel a bit better next season...

While Saturday's effort was good, don't let it fool you. They lost by 25 goals to Uraidla a couple of weeks ago and have only won 4 games this year (same as last year) despite recruiting a lot more players.

They are far off the mark, but i agree that sticking with a coach is a good idea, it shows some stability.
Re Marston - last time I saw him (A couple of years ago) he was...heavy. I know that before that he was hard to stop and DA, I have to agree - would be good to still have him at the devils! We almost kept him a few years back but he AND his bro went to Mt Ronnie. Might be the whole Courier thing ;)
