Do we have a reason?
The Raiders seemed to be on the right track.

No reason given DA, but it took the playing group by suprise. Lynchy was passionate about improving the club and was looking towards next year, so it was a shock that the committee decided not to give him the job. Thought given another year with the same coach and playing group the team might be able to string a few wins together.
Another new coach next year... probably a new bunch of recruits... we are not making it any easier for ourselves :?

Refer back to preseason posts when we heard he was appointed to Bridgewater perhaps without a reference check from Onkas.

I think you'll find Bridgewater were just a little late on the reference check from Onkas. They had a phone conference with Onaks Wednesday, Shane was fire Thursday... it would seem Chris Tanner strikes again

Is there a pattern developing here? Hasn't Lynch coached three different clubs over three consecutive years?

Onkas v Uris -Uraidla to sail through this, 11 goals.
Birdwood v Lofty - A few ins for Lofty should mean they get home by 7 goals.
Bridgey v Blackwood - Blackwood by heaps, 12 goals.
Lobey v Mt barker - The Roos by more goals than there are players.
Ironbank v Hahndorf - I have to stand by my thoughts that I/B have to be watched carefully, but Hahndorf will give this a shake and there won't be much in it at all, withthe loser probably missing the finals. I/B by 5 points.

After hearing the news this morning i rang a mate from onkas. e.g the captain. He had heard nothing about this.. It is absoulte bullshit that someone from bridgy had rang there footy club. I think you'll find that bridgy had the same problem as onkas as in lynchy is a nice guy but not up to the standard of A grade hills coach. Good bloke shit coach.. Think you'll find it had nothing to do with Chris Tanner or anyone at onkas. They have enought problems of there own with out worring about bridgy's coaching problems..

But would loike to know the real reason though for lynchy's sacking. Plus who is taking over the reigns for the rest of the season. Surly V is man for the job

Is Lynch coaching the last 3 rounds? Or is there a stand in coach?
Heard the players are pretty unhappy with the way the club went about axing Lynch. Will be interesting to see how they react tomorrow.

Mate come on ,are you serious? Clearly i was joking, clubs dont ring other clubs 16 rounds in for reference checks guys . I was just having a lend at how Shane got on here at the start of the year and told us how popular he was at onkas is was only the president (CT) that didnt like him.

Leith "Hillbillies" Marston with 19 goals vs Loby today. I didn't hang around but i'm hearing it was the Roos by 23 odd goals.

Blackwood by a few goals over Bridgies. Raiders down by 6 Goals at 3 qtr time then got back to within 5 points before a couple of late blacky goals. Good game lads.

To add insult to injury, Blackwood played former Bridgewater junior Lachie Richter in the A-grade yesterday and the kid is still only 16.

Well i was not far off. Marston and Fisher were amazing. Blackwood not by as much as i'd thought. And hahndorf winners, what happened there? Did Ironbank have all their players or what? Any thoughts now about 5th place?

I reckon 5th spot will now be decided by percentage between Hahndorf and Ironbank. Important game last night which Ironbank blew
