First quote I've taken from the article- and there will be more:

"We didn't want to change the game because we have an advantage over other teams playing on our home turf."

Quoting JB there...

My first question is; is that advantage because of the physical and verbal intimidation of the Mallee Park spectators, who are given absolute free reign at UFC Oval?

Am I correct that there is a league meeting tonight and then the PLFL are meeting over BFC tomorrow
night?
That being the case I hope all delegates will be fully versed by their clubs as to their stance,
because from what I understand this wasnt the case at the last meeting.
As far as Im concerned BFC "play on" :)

Tiger,

As I understand it, Bostons forfeited the day, and forfeited the points to all grades that have premiership points (excepting under 13 as MPFC forfeited that grade at the start of the year).

A potential penalty for BFC is "loss of premiership points." This is referencing ALL GRADES, and across the year.

Well done to the writer of the article (Natasha Ewendt), who stated that a "Boston player was wrestled to the ground, held down, and kicked and punched."
The only version the PLFL has so far is that PD kicked a spectator, and obviously Paechy's face just decided to bleed...

What did everone think of JB's comments in the paper this morning?

I think the journalist should have used the word allegedly marble park in that case. They built up the story saying Bostons could get kicked out.

I'm still struggling with something...

Bostons have made what is a noble stand, in regards to the safety and welfare of their players and supporters, and they are being put through the ringer...

Mallee Park have been the "problem child" of the league forever...

It isn't Marble Range that go to Ravendale and wipe faeces over the toilet walls.

It isn't Waybacks who leave used nappies around other clubs grounds.

It isn't Lincoln South who threaten other clubs juniors on and off the field.

It isn't Tasmans who leave young people in fear of going to the football, going to school, and living their lives, for fear of physical injury.

It is Mallee Park. The time has come to say that we, as a community, do not accept these actions.

=D> Well said.
Can teams vote another team out of a league? is there some sort of 'emergency meeting' clause that could incorporate a club vote? 5-1 is a pretty strong majority.

correct me if i am wrong but didn't MR refuse MP junior teams to play at MR a few years back over some burg's and vandalism without penalty?

I just hope those against BFC don't wish for our backing when in same position, although by then BFC actions may have lead to League reconsidering the existing penalty process.

Question: Without MP, would star indigenous players (such as Johncock, Burgoyne etc) still emerge in the PLFL? I think they would. Probably even more so.

A lot of the problems MP are notorious for comes down to one thing.

Culture.

Sure, indigenous culture should certainly be retained.

But indigenous culture and Mallee Park culture differs 100 per cent.
