as we leave a cold, wet and windy compass after quarter time in the A grade sees willunga 3.1 leading yankalilla 2.4 -- I am pretty sure that there is no one left in the town of yank - lol

Cheers - would have been hard to cover those losses.

Willunga hitting form at the right time - to be expected of course. Can Victor re-group? Certainly were totally outplayed in the first quarter/half on Saturday by Strath. Might get J Brown and Bell back this week but Dale Ellis wasnt sighted after going off in the second.

Dale Ellis did a hamstring according to my reliable source at Compass yesterday.
I keep wondering why teams continue to attack Willunga physically. Yank really had a go at Willunga players everytime they had half a chance yesterday.
To such an extent Willunga just kept on getting frees (which they deserved)
Willunga are not intimidated by that sort of stuff.

Willunga V Strath is looking a real chance.

McFarlene did his shoulder at Encounter Bay in the first quarter last week.

Their odds must be firming. Strath would have to favourites at this point though.

Will this weekends games stay at Victor even though they are playing in the A grade?

Yes.

Grand final day is the only day that would move venue - if it happens that the 'hosting' oval's A grade team made the GF.

(as far as I understand it - someone please correct me if I am wrong)

O:)

The rules were changed a couple of years ago and now finals matches will not be changed from the original schedule regardless of if the A Grade are playing.. even the Grand Final.
