The council spent $800,000 on upgrading the wharf arm so we could fish of it and a couple of years later they want to keep all recreational fishers away. What is going on down there?

You can get a good feed of Salmon if you go down there early in the morning.

Had to laugh at the advert by the centrex opposers in the paper. Putting a picture of a smashed up car and saying 'if centrex come here we will have more deaths on our roads'.
I would have gone with 'dont step outside in a storm you might get hit by lightning'.
I can't beleive that this group have steeped this low.

Its obviously fact you faggot! how would you like it if it was one of your family members or hockey teammates in the car? Not sure if you would be a centrex lover then hey. Thinks about it.

MP and CMH have you heard about the planned upgrade to Poole Oval. With new changerooms and viewing area?

Talking about the paper this morning, I had to laugh at the picture on pg 11 of Terry the butcher Giles' advert from "1968". Full beard, looks about 30 yrs old. Only trouble is Terry would have been about 14 yrs old in 1968. Either he's a quick maturer in both looks and facial features as well as one very smart boy running his own butcher shop at that age OR low and behold the paper got it wrong.
I know Gilesy is a Lincoln South supporter but not sure if he played for them. Can you LS lads check that out and if he did play what are the chances that you played a very old chap in your younger grades. Might be repurcussions, fines and all sorts in the wind

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

At this time of the year its the same as usual with plenty of injuries but with a couple of weeks off and we will have 2 very strong sides.
Also have an x Afl player playing this week. Should be good to see how he goes. Will be good for some leadership out on the field
